When he said Poland deserved to be invaded by the Germans its because the Nazis were trying to bring back the first Reich. Which encompasses pretty much what the holy Roman empire had in land size, which includes Poland.

The answer is simple. Because he's quite affluent and he doesn't need alternative pay as a soldier. Russian soldiers don't fight for the cause but for money. The majority of recruits come from the poor parts of Russia. Most of them earn below the minimum wage and the army offers much more money so they volunteer.

And the war is an opportunity to steal so they steal whatever can be stolen, even cutlery, kettles and dishes, like it was in Chernobyl.

Had you...you would realize that I'm really not a fan of war...Yet...I do bother to realize the territorial nature of the human animal...and the innate causes of why humans treat each other the way we do...

I also bother to understand the reasons that led to this conflict...that this conflict was engineered by the west because the west was under the impression that they could destabilize Russia...and fracture it...

It was a gross underestimation of Russian capabilities...and an even grosser overestimation of the west.s capabilities...


And here we are...

The Ukrainians are in retreat...and the Russian forces have liberated 6...(six)...more communities just in the last week...and are advancing along the entire line of conflict...

That's the reality on the ground...

Do I like the fact that your ex president decided to prolong the conflict and get those hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians killed when he scuttled the negotiations...?

Negotiations that were almost in full agreement I might add...they were signed by the Ukrainian lead negotiator and only had minor issues to settle...

Sorry mate, got to disagree with you on this.
RT has been a member here for a number of years now, since well before Putin's invasion.

ATS is an international site and sharing information/ideas etc and discussing them is at the very core of the site.
Personally I dislike any form of censorship and even though I disagree with RT's opinions on Russia's invasion of Ukraine I would support his 'right' to post them here on ATS strongly.
