I know you really want New York to crumble into chaos because your feelings for hurt over Trump, but don't pretend like the markets won't recover and find different avenues for turning profits and sharks like Oleary will snap up cheap property. New York isn't going anywhere.

You need to create something to build upon for a recovery. This judgement, should it stand, will all but bar the creation of anything.


You should re-evaluate your positions because NYC recovery while kneecapping growth are non congruent.

A city cannot exist without creation. This judgement ensures that it will be minimal. If anyone is allowed to even buy/sell property by the rules established that are illegal.

You really no nothing of which you are speaking. It's the policies of NY, like this show trial that ARE KILLING NY! No one will want to live in NYC because of crime, taxes, and hostile business climate. And again we are seeing the results of one party control in action. All this talk about Trump being a criminal and the overseers of this case refuse to prosecute actual criminals. But if you happen to do something to one of those very same criminals you get charged! I mean this is the state (and AG) that could not and would not pursue any charges on Cuomo. Sexual harassment and the nursing home mandates, but Trump is the big baddie.

In 2019 Gov Cuomo blew up at the people making NY rules so oppressive, because so many wealthy were moving and/or incorporating to Texas and Florida.

These, or most, properties weren't being on the "market". They were having evaluations and assements done and then contracts drawn up to purchase around those evaluations.

please explain how options are used in real estate. I have never heard of this, and should be educated. I am familiar with stock options, but have never heard of real estate options in this case. I was under the impression Trump was borrowing money for other projects, and based his net worth on the valuations of his properties which is offered as collateral for the loan. You are bringing a totally new aspect of this in. Do tell.

The organizations negatives don't equal positives in the whole grand scheme of things.

New York isn't going anywhere, a bunch of Wall Street firms and corrupt real estate moguls leaving Manhatten isn't going to cause one of the most prosperous cities in the world to crumble. All that will do is drive up cost of living in where ever they land and drive down cost of living in New york.

If there's one thing democrats in Washington and abroad are good at, it's painting themselves into a corner. They've done it with Trump, illegal aliens, minorities, gays, etc. I'll never understand why it's such a difficult task for them to think ahead and wonder if their actions might have consequences.

I'm sure he did exaggerate to the bank and try to pay less taxes. Every single American who owns property does the same because if you don't the banks don't work with you. The issue here is even though everyone does it they are going after him because he is running for office. If he wasn't running they wouldn't be prosecuting. It's okay to admit you see that aspect of this. Not here to try to convince you this guy hasn't done anything wrong. This is election interference if it wasn't they would be lining up everyone and they simple are not going to do that and that Mayor even said this is only for Trump so you admitting that Trump is being targeted for running for office doesn't make you MAGA or anything it just makes you human.
