I think I know how Trump got to 30000 square feet it is what new york taxed him for. New York taxes is based off gross square feet and not livable area. The state counts how much floor space you take up including elevators and hallways. Trump tower is also taxed for the amenities that there residence has access to a gym pool a stocked bar all handled by the HOA. Since anyone who owns property in Trump tower is part owner of these facilities they get taxed.

I bet he found out what the state was accessing his tax liabilities at and decided well there is my square feet.

He would have paid considerably less taxes if he was only accessed at 10000 square feet. So I keep hearing this argument that he lied but that would mean he lied to pay more taxes and that doesn't make sense does it?

These news sites are being really stingy with providing sources lately.

Found it hidden deep in a USA today article.

If he does not post a bond then the judgment goes forward as ruled. He has less than 30 days to get the money together or the state of New York will begin to liquidate his assets.

Wanna bet what?

New York requires a bond to be posted before a stay will be issued in the event you appeal your civil suit ruling. Without the bond, the appellate court will not issue a stay of judgment.

So if he fails to post the bond and the clock runs out he is now on the hook for the money he owes. He fails to pay up the state is within their rights to liquidate his assets in order to get the money that is owed.

His properties are mortgaged the banks would get the money first as loan repayments. I'm betting when he left the state he heavily mortgaged the properties thats what I would have done. So I have a feeling getting him to pay could be more difficult then they think. The banks will fight civil forfeiture

GOOD FIND!

Also, Donald Trump apparently raised the $450 BILLION needed for an appeal of corrupt-crooked-nasty Judge Engoron and Letitia James's ruling and $355 Billion fine/punishment they levied against him.

" Ruth Bader Ginsburg Ironically Gave Trump The Key To Appealing His NYC Verdict "

" Former President Donald Trump, who moved quickly to appeal a recent judgment against him in New York civil court, has former liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to thank according to filings by his attorneys submitted earlier this week.

A previous opinion by Ginsburg is cited heavily in Trump’s appeal of a $454 million judgment by Judge Arthur Engoron concluding his real estate business artificially inflated the value of its assets in order to obtain advantageous business contracts. In a unanimous 2019 ruling on Timbs v. Indiana, Justice Ginsburg wrote on behalf of the court that the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits excessive fines, is applicable in state cases."

Trump still hasn't posted his bond. If he fails to do so before the clock runs out, the punishment goes into effect. If he fails to pay at that time, the state can begin liquidating his assets.

Who exactly is going to buy Trump’s properties that they will try to liquidate?
A billionaire Liberal somewhere? Maybe Soros?

Trump's Lawyers will Request a Stay claiming the State of NY Violated Mr. Trump's 8th Amendment Rights with an Excessive Monetary Ruling .
