What Taxpayer's money?
Trump used money he got from loans from Banks, not Taxpayer funds.
Trump then paid back the loans (with all the interest). The Banks were happy, Trump was happy, the only people NOT happy are those with an axe to grind with Trump.
The only Taxpayer money that was spent during all this was on the court case against Trump.

Was any of the taxpayers money spent on the court case used to pay for luxury vacations for the prosecution? Someone should look into that.

They're going to be really upset when they find out he's about to make around $4 billion from his media company and DWAC merger.

You promised me the facts would be the same on MSNBC, they weren't. I'm very sad.

are you sure you read the right article? I'm pretty sure the facts are still the same. Trump was targeted for being Trump, a judge found him guilty before the trial, and he was fined almost a half a billion dollars for taking out loans and paying them back. Now if you check MS'___', you find that Trump is a criminal mastermind, who used both black magic and fraud to lure unsuspecting banks into giving him money for air (which he valued higher than zero) and the poor banks almost went bankrupt but were able to stay afloat due to some miracle.

But in the end, a "trial" was held, Trump is guilty, Trump must pay about 400 billion dollars, and he doesn't think it's fair. Those appear to be the facts. So cheer up, for all those who hate the orange guy, this is a big win! Until appeal that is.

Of course he doesn't think it's fair...he didn't do nuffin. Never. He is, without a doubt, totally squeaky clean. Bigly clean. Well, maybe except his loaded didee.

I'm not sure about NY but when all is said and done because of his rhetoric has cost us many monies.
Probably upward of half a billion would be my guess.
Maybe don't defraud people going forward.

It wasn't his rhetoric that cost us. It was rhetoric from the left that is driving the waste of resources and destroying this nation piece by piece every single day.

It was a coarse analogy certainly, but the idea is there. He hit that Republican Debate show and made sweeping promises. He had a targeted audience, or consumer group to play to and he did it. He's a salesman. His pitch was to drain the swamp and he pitched it to people who already had a deep hatred for the swamp. People who already knew how swampy it is. He made promises that they should have known he could not keep. Truth is I cheered for him for a few short weeks until I realized it was all show, all glitz,, all bull. He is, before all and after all, a salesman and any of us who have not figured out the universal truth about salesmen by now are going to remain victims of the very swamp he promised to drain.

Absolutely!

I refer to him as a Carnival Barker. He sees his mark. He zeros in.

He’s perfected it. MAGA would never have been if the audience hadn’t reacted to it.

It’s all about him manipulating people.

I am not one of them.

I think it's past the point of "being the bigger man", and in trench warfare, you will get dirty, and you have no choice but to fight in the trenches. Bring the war to them. Unity can come later, it doesn't seem to be a priority now.

You do know that you're expecting trench warfare out of a draft dodger right?

He’s the only one who has been charged with this and the fine is ludicrous. You’re into grooming how you want it to be . The actual law is what you should go with . Protect your own instead of being a social justice culture warrior . Protect those that you should . Don’t brainwash them lol

Maybe and probably he also does things that if I knew wouldn't accept but I haven't heard of one yet , but that fine is absurd for such a prosecution and to me something to ruin somebodies life...

If true. then good. Why serve a city that doesn't respect the constitution? They want to use state power to do BS against the currently most popular candidate and challenging candidate for presidency, then why not use personal discretion to deny them service from other states?

If NYC wants to declare war on the working class of the nation, all is fair.

This is Turning into an Ugly Confrontation between the Trucking Industry and NYC . It will be a Lose/Lose Situation for the People of NYC . Freight coming into the Harbor will be Backloaded going Out of the City , and Freight going into the City will Slow to a Trickle . Union Bosses will be Powerless to Stop it because it's Not about Money this Time but Outrage Over Injustice . Stay Tuned................

Sure it will. Nearly 85% of the industry is owned by conglomerates who tell the drivers where to go and if they don't go they get fired.

You should consult a map, Port Newark (the largest port on the east coast) is in, wait for it, New Jersey.

Letita James won the New York attorney general position partially because she campaigned on getting Donald Trump.

If Donald Trump wins the presidency, part of why he wins will be because he campaigned on getting retribution and payback against all the people who damaged him and America in the process.

Both individuals are merely carrying out the will of their constituency...the people who elected them.

What's fair is fair.

I spent a summer working for some Vanderbilt professors at an experiment in Elizabeth NJ and saw that for myself.
