Menendez

And there were plenty of articles that said Santos violated federal law and House rules. That doesn't change the fact that he wasn't expelled until the House Ethics Committee completed their investigation and presented their filings.

The first vote to expel Santos failed because there was no conviction or ethics report.

Yes, he got the biden treatment. All he had to do was return the illegal gifts and all will be forgotten.

"In a four-page “letter of admonition,” the panel’s three Republicans and three Democrats ordered Menendez to pay back the gifts he received and said he is “hereby severely admonished.”

Sounds guilty to me and apparently, to the ethics committee.

The article you posted is from 2018. That stemmed from a previous indictment that Menendez was found not guilty of in 2017.

Exactly. He has since been indicted again. And the article shows that the ethics committee ruled that he was in violation. He was guilty that long ago and the democrats still won't throw him out, but demanded that Santos be tossed out. It's a smart move because the republicans are dumb enough to go along to get along.

Because he had already been found not guilty in court, the Ethics Committee didn't have a leg to stand on to recommend expulsion.

Oh boy George, a little karma for the chameleon?

Congrats to the House.

They required him to return the bribes he took. If he wasn't guilty, why would they ask that?
If he is found guilty in a court on his latest corruption charges, will you call for his removal?

My question is how many new to town migrants voted?

So, did you have this same discussion with yourself? Wouldn't it have been easier to just have joined me in pointing out how lame the republicans in Congress are?

I am sure is a "win for the democrat's destruction of Americas integrity as a nation" they has managed the political targeting of specifics ethnic groups to cater to only them.

Italian on Italian, black on black, Muslim on Muslim, Latino on Latino, soon the entire nation will become more divided than ever.

They has managed now to make sure that illegals in NY get a job over born American citizens, catering to specific racial groups, just like advertisement and targeted ads does to the consumer.

Meanwhile if you are not the same kind as the politicians in charge of your area you will become a minority.

We are no longer one nation anymore.

WHY is Bob Menendez still a member of Congress? George Santos was an Angel compared to what's being revealed about U.S. Senator Bob Menendez!

WHY are Republicans not adding their support to Senator John Fetterman who is demanding that disgraced Menendez be removed?

Are Republicans against having him removed because too many of them have/are participated in the same type of crimes Bob Menendez was twice indicted for by the Department of Justice, late in 2023? 🤔 💣

nypost.com...

He's still getting classified briefings too. Republicans are afraid of Democrats. Holy crap!

It's interesting you should bring that up. The main focus of the race was on immigration. So this could be indicative that immigration isn't as galvanizing an issue as the GOP are hoping. I also know the were a few Republicans interviewed who said they voted against Pilip because of the GOP's refusal to bring immigration legislation to a vote in the House.

First McCarthy, and now Jordan, have given GOP candidates nothing to run on. They've passed no meaningful legislation and have instead decided to focus on spectacle hearings that go nowhere.

Philip certainly did try and tie the board crises albatross around Suozzi neck that is true.

But Suozzi's campaign strategy was to paint himself as a third option on the subject. He was critical of the Biden administration and Democrat boarder policies on the campaign trail of the last three years.

Our entire political system is broken, I have faith on nobody, corruption and money has become the law of the land, I wonder how much of the cartels money is now running freely in the halls of congress.

Biden has made them billionaires with the human trafficking scheme at the border.

They should not be creating Acts. They should be balancing the budget and stopping the CR's that have been constant since 1997.

The left got what they wanted...again.. He beat Santos in 2020.

Suozzi voted with President Joe Biden's stated position 100% of the time in the 117th Congress,

Also very odd it was the same NY District Attorneys office that indicted Santos that Ssozzi worked for...

Santos may be a dirtbag but I could name half of Congress who has done worse.

Ny is notorious for corruption, is span decades of it, to prove it, that is why democrats love to keep NY under their thumb, so they can get away with murder if they can.

Suozzi beat Republican nominee Mazi Pilip to replace Republican George Santos, who was indicted on a charge of fraud and then expelled from Congress late last year amid revelations that he fabricated much of his life story.

I attempted to do a YouTube search of Biden fabrications about his past, but there were too many results.

I would love to see a fraud hearing where Cornpop is subpoenaed to testify.
