Harry had brief meeting with father and then spent the night alone in a hotel.
I don't understand the family dynamics here.
Why fly around the world for a 'brief meeting' with the father,
and then not see other family and not spend the night in the
family home? And why a 'brief meeting'. Sounds like a business and not a family.

Everyone is different so maybe they don't do things the same way as
I'm used to. But it's odd to me.

There's a reason why the Royal Family or the House of Windsor is also referred to as "The Firm", a term that dates back to King George VI's reign.

It's called Royal protocol whether you are a family member or not.
Harri decided to rock up assuming his dad would see him with 'no appointment required'.
Harri very well knows Royal Protocol even with his own father. The Monarch having a very tight schedule cannot just drop engagements at a whim. Harri is lucky to have had half an hour with Charles. Charles apparently delayed his departure to Sandringham to recouperate after his first treatment for the cancer so he could see Harri. My guess is so as to save Harri any embarassement of 'rocking up unannounced'. Personally, this stinks of Harri expecting to get his own way and making it about himself again.
As to Harri seeing any other members of the Royal Family: a) they would all have their prior arrangements/engagements and b) would you trust Harri not to spill the beans about a private conversation you have with him at some future date?
Yes, Royalty do things a little/lot differently to us. I wouldn't want their lifestyle for love nor money!

The internet as we know it today is the result of decades of collaborative work by scientists, engineers, and researchers from around the world.

The precursor to the internet can be traced back to "ARPANET" a project of the "Advanced Research Projects Agency" which was a division of the U.S.

So while you're nation played a significant role in the development of the Internet, it was not solely responsible for its invention.

There is a segment on the woke left that seem to like him. But a good chunk of us don't like grifter woke foreigners coming here and telling us how we should live.

You're the foreigner old boy. ATS is a UK created forum, not the other way around. Hope you understand that ?

To be fair...ATS exists on the Internet...and (Al Gore notwithstanding) Americans invented it.

To be fair, ATS exists because Simon Gray, a Brit, created it. Otherwise no one would access it, even with the internet.

You refer, of course, to the War for American independence and the glorious surrender of General Cornwallis' British troops to Washington in 1781.

Yes, thanks to those nefarious French.

BTW...Let's not forget the 30,000 German troops (Hessians) you Brits had to hire to do the real dirty fighting for you.
We sent them packing too.

Hmmm...ATS or THE INTERNET?---WHICH is the more impressive, important and successful creation of the two?
So difficult.

Should we talk about who gave us TCP/IP?

Sure we can, if you wish to talk about who gave us The World Wide Web.

Maybe he regrets his behavior over the past few years. Probably misses his family terribly. I feel sorry for the guy. Married the wrong woman, couldn't control his emotions. I wonder why he's in a hotel and not an apartment at one of the palaces? Strange. Anyway, hope he gets his life in order one day.
Spent a lot of time in the UK. Could easily live there if it wasn't going Islamic.

Vinton Cerf and Robert Kahn?

The TCP/IP suite was not created by a single individual, rather it was developed through collaborative efforts involving multiple researchers and engineers.

It could also be argued that Tim Berners-Lee working at CERN invented the "World Wide Web", who was a British scientist.

But again that would not be completely correct as it was through collaborative efforts that the internet of today materialised, which happened over time.

Vlad The Impaler was already depraved, now add to that the even greater generational damage that weighs on Charles and his children + grandchildren.. I won't even think about the possible blood hysteria, screaming from their hands.

Look how prince Harry reacts to a child eating from his popcorn... Closely look at his mouth around 1:05, how crazy he flicks his tongue at the child. Real strange behavior. He is ecstatic.

What? He's laughing and joking with her and sharing his popcorn with her?

Jeez, fella....

Hmm. Maybe the royals do serve a purpose for the 99% of the world's population to have an elitist target that always delivers.

His bad grifting behavior got him rich.
He doesn't seem to regret the money.
But okay ... maybe regret ...
or he's schmoozing the dad he doesn't like in order to keep in good for inheritance reasons.

Definitely married the wrong woman. She has driven a wedge between him and his family.

I can't see that marriage lasting.

Well .. that was quick. Harry flew around the world, had a 45 meeting with his father, stayed by himself in a hotel, and then left. Makes no sense to me ... but I'm not 'royal' so what do I know .....

FOX NEWS

Prince Harry has already departed the United Kingdom after a meeting with King Charles III following his cancer diagnosis, Fox News Digital can confirm.

The Duke of Sussex is already en route to the United States, leaving Heathrow Airport this morning, according to royal expert Hilary Fordwich. The estranged prince was reportedly not allowed to stay at any of the royal residences and did not have a reunion with his brother, Prince William.

Harry arrived in London to see his ailing father on Tuesday, meeting the monarch for a brief visit at his London home, Clarence House. Fordwich previously told Fox News Digital that although the younger prince wanted a reunion with his older brother, no meeting would materialize.

Weird.
It's almost like he secretly wants to eat that sweet little girl.
Good thing they were in public.

No it doesn't. He's laughing and joking with her.

Not weird at all

You have a vivid imagination, seeing stuff that just isn't there.

I'd think it's a good sign of the King's expected recovery, with Harry leaving so quickly.

I imagine he just wanted to look his dad in the eyes to know exactly what the situation is. Charles prob told him everything is good, doctors confident etc, so Harry's gone home, still pissed off with each other, but at least he knows his dad ain't gonna die imminently, so he can't be called a # now or that "he left his father on his deathbed" etc.

Both my parents are dead, but I can't imagine dealing with it as a 'royal', the whole world watching.
I'm no monarchist, and I'd choose the life I've lived over the public stage of being born in that family.
