You do not know you are talking about.

1. Assessed for taxes is not the same as "home value"
2. Historic Properties are just that. They are protected. This means nothing to value. Nothing. In some cases however it increases the value. This is MAL not the log cabin Lincoln grew up in.
3. It was donated on the original owners death and was suggested to the the Winter White House. It was eventually sold to Trump.

n 2022, Forbes estimated the value of the estate at around $350 million.[27] Forbes said that 'Real estate experts outside of Palm Beach guessed that the place was worth more than $200 million. Brokers on the island thought it could be worth far more, with the most aggressive estimate coming in at $725 million.

When Forbes last valued the property in March, we went with a conservative $350 million.' In a 2022 lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, it was alleged that Trump inflated the value of Mar-a-Lago to $739 million, when the property should actually be valued at $75 million

I would listen to someone at Forbes before I would the current judge. The entire case could be resolved by the ordering of a Home Appraisal.

Willis has admitted to having a personal relationship with one of her prosecutors, after he was hired, and no public funds had been spent on their travel.

Last time I checked there was nothing illegal about that.

Jesus Christ on a Sunday!

You’ll defend these crooks at any cost.

It’s gotta be a paying gig, otherwise why look like a complete fool?

Exactly what they are accused of.

That’s the logic you use when harping about Trump’s cases, I’ll do the same with them.

She also paid him 3 times what the other, more experienced lawyers on the case, are making.

There might be cause, ironically, for a RICO case against her because she padded his paycheck so they could go on lavish vacations.

These two bit, low life crooks are being exposed for what they are.

Anyone that defends them are no better than they are.

Here's the difference. I can point to actual statutes Trump is accused of violating. I can point to hard evidence that supports those accusations.

Do the same with Willis & Wade. Cite what statutes in the USC were violated. Show the evidence that supports your claims.

Georgia district attorney sets up a high profile case against a political rival.

She uses her political position to hire her married lover and two other close friends to work on this high profile case; each of her friends and lover receiving large salaries payed for out of public funds.

The District Attorney's lover uses a portion of his publicly funded salary to take his District Attorney boss, who just hired him, on luxury vacations.

The District Attorney's lover fails to disclose a portion of his income to his wife during their divorce.

The District Attorney threatens legal action against her lovers' wife during their divorce proceedings.

There are lots of potential crimes in there. Worthy of an investigation. No one is above the law.

Could you parrot all those statues before there were investigations into Donald Trump uncovering his wrong doing; and before teams of lawyers on the Democrat pay role formulated the arguments; and before the MSN put those arguments on rotation 24/7?

Sounds like we need an investigation into Willis to determine if she eather showed extremely pore judgment while carrying out her political position or if she was involved in bribery, extortion and/or racketeering.

We need an investigation to know if she broke the law, and if she did how.

So telling, that Willis literally campaigned on 'NOT having sex with employees' and misuse of funds...and then starts boinking the dude she hired.

In 2020, Fani Willis said Atlanta deserves a “DA who won’t have sex with employees” or “put money in their own pocket.” It appears she did both.
“As district attorney you have my word, during my tenure, we will be a beacon for justice and ethics in Georgia.”

Dude. You support Trump.

Says the guy defending Biden and his DoJ at every turn?

The same regime that locks up politically dissidents, prosecutes his political rivals and has a 50 year career of racism and authoritarian policies?

Just another weekend jaunt, I guess lol... It also seems she hired him and being an inexperienced lawyer he was moved into the lead prosecutor position making upwards of 600k, so maybe not so clear cut. In most places that would get you fired quickly and in the military it actually is illegal.

Here is what Politico is saying...

Earlier this month, a lawyer for Michael Roman, one of Trump’s co-defendants in the case, filed a motion claiming that Willis and lead prosecutor Nathan Wade have been having a romantic relationship. Willis hired Wade, a private sector lawyer who appears to have limited experience working on complex criminal matters, and he has reportedly been paid more than $600,000 for his work on the prosecution.

The motion asserts that Wade and Willis have been taking vacations using the fees that Wade has been paid and argues that Willis and Wade have been “profiting significantly from this prosecution at the expense of the taxpayers.” The motion also claims that the two may have committed federal crimes, citing a law known as the honest-services fraud statute.

Inflation isn't the only driver for the price increase.

I didn't say it was.

I was replying to a post about the impact inflation would have had on the value.

The "cultural significance" is actually something that hurts its value. Because it's on the national registry for historic places any changes made to the property requires cutting through a lot of red tape.

That might be, but i do not think anyone with the money to buy it would be to worried about that, would they?

To Threadbearer.....

Yes. I do support Trump. He was a great President and probably one of the best. Ever. But I am not defending him. I am calling out a corrupt judicial system. Big Difference.

That does not mean i do not understand evaluations on a home or value. MAL is not worth what the judge said. Not even close. We have shown proof. Even articles from left leaning sites...or how about Forbes. I would think they know more about finance than the NY judge.

Could Trump have inflated values? Sure
Could a Trump employee have inflated values? Sure
Does it matter? No

Because in the end it is up to the bank...and their choice to take a risk on any loan. You could make 300k a year and be denied if the bank looks at your financials and says...no.

I cannot believe that you have even gone through a home purchase as this is pretty common knowledge if you have.
