They already took back the money...and are still asking for more.

The Biden administration on Friday announced it is returning $2.2 billion in Defense Department funds diverted to construct former President Donald Trump's border wall back to the Pentagon to be used for deferred defense construction projects.
n

the money isn't for the border, it's for the pockets. They need more, because they don't have enough.

Democrats need someone to blame for their failures.

Who do they blame for Biden getting elected?

I suspect a paradigm shift will happen,

This is on the horizon which will one day be realized as a reality, but not what's in your boggled imagination.

LOL, tell me it will be a scientific breakthrough enabling a dude to sh!t out a kid from his.......from his what?
It's physics, I don't think it's something you can argue with, but you sure can try. Your battle with Biology doesn't seem to be going well at all.

Taking my words out of context and adding them to your little backwoods of a profile must make you feel like you accomplished something great, lol it's actually the opposite.

It's not my battle with anything, that is what scientists have accomplished so far and it's just another reality you'd rather pretend didn't exist. Sorry for you, sorry for your imaginary world.

Too little too late.

They finally woke up and see this, not for the crisis it is, but as a threat to their votes. They're pandering.
Democrat cities are getting a taste of the problem and they don't like it.

anything is possible, but it's just about to be February, and the election is in November. Tick tock.

True enough ND, and I genuinely appreciate your more positive attitude in the OP. I admit I've become quite cynical this time around. As I predicted back in August, I don't think Trump or Biden will make it to November, but it won't hurt my feelings to see Trump pull off another 4 years, especially if Vivek is his VP, which could set us up for another 8 after that.

Immigration is a bigger priority than economy
As inflation has eased and job growth continued, concerns about the economy have become less pressing compared with the chaos along the U.S. border with Mexico.

In New Hampshire, about 4 in 10 Republican voters identify immigration as the most critical issue facing the United States. About 7 in 10 say immigrants in the U.S. today do more to hurt the country than help it. And 8 in 10 favor building a wall along the southern border.

This is the largest issue on voters minds coupled with the economy. Biden has claimed he needs congress to act in order to secure the border. That is all well and good, and as long as nobody comes along and fixes it without congress, that lie will hold up. But therein lies the issue. It's looking like Trump will be the new president, and we already know he has the tools needed to fix the border, as he has done this before.
.......

Your premise here is that Trump "fixed" the border before without any change in the laws and therefore he could/would do it again, if re-elected.

Would it ever occur to you to mix a few facts and figures into your unsupported speculation? At least then we would have something to debate.

For example, what data makes you think Trump "fixed" the border in his first term? What performance metric defines "fixed"? Traditionally, metrics like number of apprehensions, arrests, and deportations are what are used, where larger numbers indicate a more aggressive and effective program.

So how did Trump's first term stack up compared to previous Presidents?

Trump's peak year for apprehensions was 2019, with around 852,000. However, apprehensions were larger than that for every year from 1983 to 2007. That means Reagan, G.H.W. Bush, Clinton, G. W. Bush, and Obama all had better years.

www.cbp.gov... %20%28FY%201960%20-%20FY%202019%29_0.pdf

How about arrests? Much higher under Obama, on the average.

How about removals (deportations)? Again, higher under Obama, on the average.

www.pewresearch.org...

How about that wall--you know, the one that Trump designed personally to keep out the Mexican murderers and rapists and that Mexico is going to pay for any day now?

"Almost the entirety of the Trump border wall was constructed after December 2018 when the Trump sections were just 31 miles. With 455 miles by January 2021, if the border wall deterred illegal crossings, the Border Patrol should have seen fewer illegal crossings and fewer successful illegal crossings. Indeed, the agency already claimed that the wall was “deployed” and “effective” in late October 2020 with about 170 miles still to be built.
...

After a temporary lull in migration during the early part of the pandemic, that very month (October 2020) saw a significant jump in both known successful entries (what the Border Patrol calls “gotaways”), as well as arrests to levels as high as before the pandemic, and the numbers kept rising. Even before Biden assumed office, the Border Patrol was making more arrests and witnessing far more successful crossings after the wall went up than most months before the Trump wall.

www.cato.org...

Did you catch that part about more successful crossings AFTER the wall went up than BEFORE?

What in the world makes you think Trump "fixed" anything about the border?

I just have to believe that the entire democratic party has at least a few people who can think for themselves. If there are, then it's possible they won't be blindly voting for "not Trump because he's mean and orange". Seeing a few prominent people stating the same facts we all know in front of cameras is quite liberating.

On Wednesday, speaking from the World Economic Forum’s confab in Davos, Switzerland, Jamie Dimon – chair and CEO of JPMorgan Chase, the largest and most profitable bank in the United States, and one of the most influential CEOs in the world – heaped praise on Donald Trump’s policies while president.

“Take a step back, be honest,” Dimon said. Trump “was kind of right about Nato, kind of right on immigration. He grew the economy quite well. Tax reform worked. He was right about some of China. He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues.”

Tell me, if the truth is, we could stop the flow of illegals by re-instating the remain in Mexico policy, what can congress do to make Biden sign that EO?

Mexico isn't going to cooperate.

Mexico rejects any effort to reinstate 'remain in Mexico' policy for asylum-seekers

Mexico opposes restart of U.S. 'Remain in Mexico' immigration policy

Mexico says no to safe third-country asylum discussion with U.S.

Mexico won't accept U.S. request for safe third country agreement

Mexico is not a "Safe 3rd Country". The US can't force Mexico to become one to take on asylees she doesn't want. A US President can't Executive Order it so.

I honestly don't know why I reply to you, you aren't man enough to come back to a thread and defend your lunacy, but why not, I have some time.

Regardless of what you think about the border or Trump, there is data. The data clearly shows a massive increase in illegal immigration just after Biden removed the Trump policies with regard to the border. I'm sure you can do some common core math or something to make that not be real in your mind, but the facts are hard to argue with.

I know others will be curios as to what level of TDS you currently have, but it's obvious, you are in late stages, and it's terminal.

Trump's polices were temporary bandages, at best. When the National Health Emergency ended, so did Trump's/The USA's leverage to keep asylum seekers in Mexico.

Trump's Remain in Mexico policy was also temporary, and untenable, as Mexico is NOT a "Safe 3rd Country"
