I disagree. I think everything Carroll has done and written is good for rape victims.

Like it's not important to know when it happened, it wasn't all that traumatic apparently. But it's essential to remember that it DID happen when the guy you are accusing has the cash to pay the tab. #believe all women (except Tara Reade)

The court has already ruled that Trump was liable of sexual assault. The court is not here to re-litigate that case. They're here to determine whether comments made by Trump constitute further defamation.

Lets say your son is accused of rape. There is no criminal trial. Now, on social media, he stated he did not rape her. So when the accuser finds out she sues him for slander. Judge awards her a million dollars for damages.

That is what is happening here. It is not about saying he could have defended himself. I mean, defending himself would mean he said he did not rape her and that is what TRUMP is being sued for.
