I don’t see it that way.

I see the emergence of “other” making their presence known as laws & restrictions are removed.

The Northern European Christian culture is pretty restrictive and staid. Yes, they’re more controlled in general — but is that really a good thing?

Observations from a different perspective.

I am not sure why she stopped at $370 mil, he has more than that.

Does he though?

It's a good thing he's innocent

Innocence really isn't the point here. The part where this isn't a crime is the main issue. Have you ever heard of the term "haircut" as it relates to real estate finance? Back before the 2008 crash, loans were done based on stated income. meaning that you could tell the bank anything you wanted. The banks or lenders would either accept your numbers, or give them a "haircut", meaning they were still willing to do the loan, but they were not accepting ALL of your numbers. It was such a widespread practice that a term was coined, hence "haircut". So this was just the way business was done. And when you have experts in the industry testify that there was no crime here, to have the judge ignore that in favor of his premade decision just shows the partisan nature of all this. All I have said can be verified by anyone who was in the industry prior to 2008.

No kidding 😆

In your original post (just like it is with so many posts here) you suggest that Trump has suffered an injustice. That the fine is outrageous, that your Lord and Master is being persecuted

But then you wonder why she didn't ask for a larger chunk of flesh than she did. Maybe because he committed a crime, this was the penalty, and he's not freaking Jesus

But according to you, because of 2008 nobody in real estate committed any crimes. Experts said so

Lol

You're probably right. Trump has always been a salt of the earth, honest as the day is long, stand up, regular guy

He loves you and he loves me. He loves this country. He's a patriot and a solid citizen

There were whiffs of crime rising off Trump way before he ever got his lame TV show

Back when he was still a Democrat. People saw him for what he really was back then

Was I misinformed?

this is the kind of post that makes me think your medication needs adjusting. Nowhere in any post I have ever made do I attribute any holiness to Trump. he is not a deity, he's just a rich guy who was president of the US.

rather than discuss the content of my post, you chose to appeal to emotion, a logical fallacy. I feel that having your businesses forcibly taken from you and fined over a quarter of a billion dollars for doing something that 1. hurt nobody, and 2. is common practice in business, is unfair. Appeal will help right that wrong if I'm correct.

in the end, it's not my money, and I owe nothing to Trump nor him me.

Please focus on what people say and less on what the voices in your mind tell you.

The voices in my head told me to give you a star

They also told me to remind you that one of these days you're going to realize that it's time to move on from defending Trump. He doesn't deserve you

even if you hated someone so much, that their very existence made you vomit, would you be upset of their livelihood was being threatened by an obvious injustice?

That's a rhetorical question and not one I ever expect an answer to, but it's something I aspire to be. I may never get there but I believe it's the right way forward.

Which names? Trump & Biden?

No, I wouldn't. Show me where I've supported Biden.

I am strictly anti-Trump because IMO he is a narcissist conman that tells people what they want to here -- to use them for his own gain.

An opportunist Carnival Barker.

That is how you choose to see it.

I live on the Mexican border, do you? I get local news, do you?

Most people bitching about the border is like "Pincante sauce made in New York City".

And it is not Trump's wall - - - it even started construction before Bush "W" signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006.

What happened with Mexico paying for it?

Construction was shut down by Homeland Security -- the U.S. Department of Homeland Security successfully argued to Congress "that different border terrains required different types of fencing, that a one-size-fits-all approach across the entire border didn't make sense."

The fencing built under the 2006 act was not the first border fencing in the United States. The U.S. Border Patrol first began to erect physical barriers in its San Diego sector in 1990. Fourteen miles of fencing were erected along the border of San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico.

Capitalism?

An economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit.
