New York AG asks judge to fine Trump $370M and bar him for life from NY real estate industry

If Trump never became President and was just a business owner, do you think the charges (victimless by the way, paid back and approved by the banks I might add) would have ever been brought forward?

I don’t think they would have which is why it is political and has nothing to do with any kind of justice.

Well, since all rich corporate figures inflate figures of worth when applying for loans for the corporations, I feel this ruling will mean that the rich people will quit investing in New York. The banks never trust values of properties without doing their research and that is actually normal and has been for probably fifty years.

I see this as an extremely bad move by the state of New York, precedence has been made, every buisiness and even homeowners or people getting personal loans will avoid the activity and move out of the state. This also means that banks will be able to take property away from people if they lied in their application with lawsuits.

This is sick and insane. The worst part is just like Guiliani, for political reasons, you are ruining someone who did great things for NY.

3/4 of a billion dollars for...nothing. This is crazier than the shows on Paramount....

I invite you to look into the definitions of racism and bigotry. And then perhaps ask one of the smart people around you to explain why what you have said in this thread shows that you are indeed a bigot. Just as ALL black people aren't good at sports, and ALL Asian people aren't super at math, not all Rednecks (or people who live in the south) are uneducated and stupid. And I dare say not all who live in blue cities are educated and smart.

Believe it or not, people are individuals and many choose to live where they enjoy being. Even some educated smart one's. I hope you can learn from this and stop being a horrible person.
