Should Elon Musk take over ATS?

Genuine question.

I ve noticed another conversation about Rogue Nation going offline for a few days and people don't know what is going on with lots of speculation but similar things have happened on this platform a number of times in the past with a recent incident when most accounts vanished together with their emails and passwords. Still nobody knows who the owner is (or owners) and when some topics are getting censored or banned altogether from debates people get suspicious.

Are you in favour or against a person like Elon Musk taking over ATS. Let's assume he has an interest in buying this platform.

Elon would have the money to do a lot with ATS, but I don't think he would be a good fit here.

Ok. You don't like the idea but tell me why.
People say this platform isn't viable anymore and if the bills are not paid isn't going to last for long. What's wrong with a famous person taking over a relatively unknown platform.

No disrespect to Musk as I am also autistic with a fixation with certain concepts and so forth but I don't think he'd be a good fit here.

I value my ability to express myself freely within the terms of the ATS Terms and Conditions as they currently stand and I see no reason to sell out to someone who will immediately come in and start redecorating the room to suit his personal tastes without considerations for the people already living here and are comfortable with the current decor.

Twitter looks like the platform with the least censorship from all other online platforms. And having in mind this platform may not be able to survive in the future as it's unknown whether it has been abandoned or who pays the bills.

They would call this “The birthplace of Q”, or something similar trying to bring this site down.

You may not aware of what has happened and the various discussions on the future of this platform. Paying the bills is the problem for any platform. Speaking about embarrassments, when the bills are not paid the platforms are no longer viable. I don't see anything wrong with Musk taking over this platform.

I think he will be much better than having unknown owners and someone who can really invest even if it's not that much. You never know how a person of his own fame and magnitude will respond to it.

Don't you think the site has been the centre of attention yet?! How many times it has gone down? Recently most accounts, emails, passwords, were purged.

People say they are not sure if this platform will be able to operate in the next few months due to financial issues. Nobody knows who the owner is or let's say some people may know but most don't.

He made it the platform with the least censorship where you can still say vaccines are not safe and effective without getting banned.

I don't know much about Rogue Nation but I wonder if these sites are being bought out and then left to die intentionally.

It would be the easiest way for organizations with money to stifle the counter culture.
