Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls closed after explosion of vehicle entering U.S. from Canada

Unfortunately I did not hear any mention of nationality. Just that they resided here, locally.

Until there are multiple reports, can't verify.

CNN is reporting that the driver of the vehicle that Fox claimed was full of explosives was a 56-year-old man who lived in a very upscale area that had intended to go to the kiss concert.. he was driving a $300k Bentley with his wife.

Fox is going to have a lot of explaining to do for being the only outlet claiming this was a terrorist attack if this ends up being true.

From what I have seen it doesn't look like a real explosion, too few debris.

No media outlets have ever done a "lot of explaining" why they were wrong. They just change their story. Those who are wrong the most are driven out of business (Buzz Feed) and forced to downscale in size (CNN).

The media is pulling the "terror card" to capitalize on an obvious, justified sentiment that's going around concerning the implications of our practically non-existent border security. Please don't let them do this to us again, like the last 80 times they inflated a story or situation for their own benefit.

Glad you find it funny for whatever reason, but it appears there wasn't any explosives and it was most likely a car accident. I might have been partially wrong, but your first option was to ridiculed me without having the full story. Nice fail.🙄

Most likely a Flying Spur, if it was a Bentley.


The witness in the video describes the car as "fishtailing" as it raced past. Fishtailing is quite common in rear wheel drive cars, such as the Bentley. Although, the Flying Spur should have been equipped with traction control, which would have minimized that issue.

Quite likely that a fuel or oil line was ruptured when the car hit the fence, and sparks cause by the impact of the car's underside on either ther curb or portions of the fence cause the leaking flammable fluids to ignite.



ETA:

Updated information now identifying vehicle as a Mercedes. Pre-crash video looks like a Mercedes SUV model, maybe a higher-performance AMG model?

Still, no traction control? Or maybe driver inexperienced with high-powered SUV handling?
