I'm watching Fox now. They have a witness who, apparently, saw the incident. He's saying that the car went airborne, flew, crashed , caught fire but there was no explosion.
The talking heads and former law enforcement are all going with a MOAB style boom.
I'll be curious to see how this plays out. I'm inclined to believe the witness over the "experts".

As a firefighter seen several high speed impacts where vehicle hits a BAT ( Big A** Tree) The noise sounds like an explosion and debris from the impact is widely scattered - at one scene found the battery 75 feet down the road

If was an EV or Hybrid vehicle involved , there are large lithium battery packs in the vehicle, which if cracked open will spark a massive fire as the lithium burns and is almost impossible to put out

Just yesterday had some broad do an Evel Knevel - missed turn on road , plowed through woods, then jumped a ravine DUKES OF HAZARD style before winding up on its side ......

Eyewitness says that car speed up near 100mph. Seems to me the driver got spooked by Customs and tried to make a break for it into USA. Must be rookies or so stupid they wont be accepted into heaven.

everyone still seems to think the vehicle was going into the USA. even from your link the eye witness specifically states the car was going into Canada.

USA and Canada both have serious border and illegal immigration issues, my statement is not a blame game thing, its just I don't understand the confusion of which way the car was going. this guy very firmly says it was going into Canada.

Daily mail is reporting that the car was driving the opposite way of traffic coming INTO the US.
That’s how they were able to reach 100mph.
That’s probably why the difference in direction being reported.

ok I see. still makes you wonder the why though. if not a planned attack what the hell were they thinking. maybe just speeding and then hit something, car starts on fire then panic sets in.?

whole story is conflicting.

Im in Canada and my brother has a house on Niagara on the Lake., but he lives in Colorado and travels quite frequently through the border there.

Long time lurker, first post ever. I live here and was personally on the scene within an hour of it happening. I can personally confirm this car was on the US side, and the two individuals in the car (since deceased) are locals to the Western New York area.

Somehow missed the confederate flag on the side of the car ......

All I know is the press I was standing a few feet from for over two hours eavesdropping stated there was a confirmed device at another bridge (Lewiston Queenstown-20 minutes from Rainbow) and the two individuals driving were local. That is literally the extent of what I know about them being natives to this area. I am hearing so much false news coming out, business as usual it seems when it comes to these high profile media stories.
