My brother got expelled from school for not wearing a belt.

I got sent to the principal's office for making a Buddha bust for a Paper Mache project we were given in 4th grade.

LOL -- that's a good one.

Another -- it always bothered me my Jewish friend/classmate was forced to sing Christmas Carols and participate in the full-on "Jesus and all" pageant. Public school, of course.

Let's not forget if you had any family member that was "not quite normal" -- you kept them hidden in the house behind closed doors.

Yeah, those days when little kids went missing and never made the news. Women knew a lot of men were pedophiles, but it was still a "secret" no one talked about, admitted or validated and parents gladly turned their kids over to schools to vaccinate, indoctrinate, incarcerate and physically beat into submission, if need be.
