Oh ya, and to add, the 1933 elections were the last multiparty elections that all-Germany had until the 1990’s. Kinda like Palestine in a way.

But we still bombed the hell out of them.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-18

9 What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in the whole world.
10 "Look," they say, "here is something new!" But no, it has all happened before, long before we were born.
11 No one remembers what has happened in the past, and no one in days to come will remember what happens between now and then.
12 I, the Philosopher, have been king over Israel in Jerusalem.
13 I determined that I would examine and study all the things that are done in this world. God has laid a miserable fate upon us.
14 I have seen everything done in this world, and I tell you, it is all useless. It is like chasing the wind.
15 You can't straighten out what is crooked; you can't count things that aren't there.
16 I told myself, "I have become a great man, far wiser than anyone who ruled Jerusalem before me. I know what wisdom and knowledge really are."
17 I was determined to learn the difference between knowledge and foolishness, wisdom and madness. But I found out that I might as well be chasing the wind.
18 The wiser you are, the more worries you have; the more you know, the more it hurts.

Well, I see Judah, and Israel, Phoenicia, and Philistia were on the map thousands of years ago. I dont see Palestine, and all of the Philistines are long gone for thousands of years. They were hauled away and never came back. The Jews however did return to their land multiple times.

I see Gaza is still on that out dated map.

Gaza.

The city of disproportionate innocent civilian genocide. Today, in fact. Perpetrated by IDF.

There's a cool colloquialism used here.

"you are responsible for your own posts."

Fun times.

If you want to use outside colloquialisms in your postings, then don't get chapped because someone else may notice them.....

Do you believe a sensible sane person would actively try to fulfill the prophecy of Armageddon?

What outside colloquialisms?

The bit about the insanity of trying to bring about God's "prophecy" of planet poisoning and enslavement of Armageddon?

Your talking points.

The same versed tripe ad nauseum.

You're not the first, won't be the last NPC to grace these boards.

I know, I know, you're not an NPC, you probably believe 100% in the regurgitated tripe you type.

So likely instead, a useful tool. Feel free to declare which lane you fall into.

Oh thanks for that extremely historical tid-bit of history about the City of Gaza.

Do you have any idea, at all, whatsoever, how many precision guided bomb strikes are occurring in that very city, in this very moment of history in the making? You know, the part of history where people are still alive, but also violently dying by the hands of very stupid intentions, such as holy war, especially holy war.

Everyone is equal in the universe.

Where are my fellow spiritualists of any creed who can agree?

" Feel free to declare which lane you fall into"

I think the main problem with many posts in this thread is that they seek to find personal weaknesses while ignoring the meat and potatoes(there's your colloquialism).

So now that we are past that, have you answered the two pressing questions?

What nations are taking in Palestinian refugees?

What should Israel instead be doing about the October 7th attack?

Neither of us have any idea.

The numbers killed and kidnapped by Hamas are still changing. Yet their bodies were found in localized areas.

Not in a huge city under buildings during a state of war.

Where are the numbers coming from?

The terrorist organization called hamas flipped the situation permanently with Oct 7th actions. The actions hamas did Oct 7th meaned there was no going back to previous status quo anymore, status quo ante bellum ...before this new war 2.0 .

What was previously part of daily politics & actions from both sides , ended there.

Survival Instinct , self-preservation taked the helm from Oct 7th forward , and it`s natural human behaviour ...

Even people who all against violence can be turned to all out war machiness if someone comes over the red line. I mean some here right now are calm not violent people, yet if walking on the street some dude try to stick knife in to you or harm your own children ,Survival Instinct , self-preservation emergences.

Once you push it over the red line , the game changes.

Now the game is, 2 sides fight or survival . That`s not to say say i like violence or promote it...but the reality is people will die once push it too far , and that`s just what hamas did , and war is hell allways .

Non-participants can only offer humanitarian aid to either side. Anything else just encourages the fighting to continue (like sending money).

The situation is not permanent unless people allow it to be so, and yet you join in the refusal to acknowledge the option to deescalate, parroting the Israel government, that there is no other choice, but genocide.

If the Israeli government was interested in survival, they would not have launched a total war against HAMAS, ignoring the civilians in the target zones of the intentionally targeted precision guided carpet bombing campaign.

How is it that incensing the animosity of the surrounding Islamic countries with genocide of Palestinians is considered a sound strategy for self-preservation?

It isn't.

It isn't in the slightest.

You are mistaking violence with self-defense. I have heard the Dalai Lama speak on this. He describes the actions of an individual defending their self or another person from violence is practicing compassion by saving the lives of innocent people. But not only that, it is also compassionate to the assailant, by preventing them from committing murder.

No room was left for self defense that involves the death of innocent people.

There are innocent people in Gaza.

Know when to stop launching bombs. The time is now.

Sun Tzu would find a suitable philosophically rewarding, yet painful and embarrassing punishment for your blunderous interpretation of morality in warfare.

Non-participants can also address state officials, as they are doing, and inspire state officials to speak out against the genocide, which they are doing.

Does calling for a ceasefire encourage the fighting to continue? That's another thing that can be done by non-participants.

I made a thread Monday that is 23 pages long today about this exact logical fallacy.

I guess Hamas, the ELECTED government of Gaza, shouldn't have attacked, without provocation, innocent Israeli citizens on Oct 7th. The innocent Palestinian children, who are taught to HATE the Jews, via schools, tv shows and plays where the innocent children are killing the Jews; aren't so innocent after all.

Do you have evidence that all the Palestinians children of Gaza hate the Jews? Do you believe all Palestinian children in Gaza hate the Jews?

Your ellipsis, to me, is the sound of the crickets chirping while you move right past your explanation as to the lack of substance in my posts.

Please choose any post in this thread and explain any lack of substance, so that I may, finally understand what you mean.

What nations are taking in Palestinian refugees?

I just saw a thread about Brazil welcoming their 10th flight of refugees.

Is this how you get your information? Too lazy to google your own questions? I can see how one can become so rigid on such a topic.

What should Israel instead be doing about the October 7th attack?

Israel has done enough.

I'll repeat for the 150th time on ATS, and probably the 10th time in this thread?

Deescalate.

Offer a ceasefire.

Do you believe there is no other way to win the War on Terror besides waging a total war against the militants while treating the innocent civilians as collateral damage making no distinctions?

Do these dated photographs, which lack all the recent bombing damage from the last few weeks, give you more idea than no idea at all about how many bombs were dropped?

Have you even tried to see the footage of the continuous bombardment?
