To my gothic tastes, these are kinda cool actually.
Would go well with an Addam's family vibe for Christmas.
That's not for everyone though.
Chinese New Year: It's not unusual for retailers to display holiday items for multiple occasions during the holiday season, as people may celebrate different holidays in close proximity. While some people may find it confusing, it's an attempt to cater to a diverse customer base.
Consumer trends and marketing strategies can evolve and adapt over time, and they may not always align with individual preferences or expectations. If you have specific concerns about the products or decorations available in a particular store, you can provide feedback to the store management or explore other retailers that better match your preferences.

Hmm, not really surprised. Been a lot of bashing of "traditional America" the last few years. The popular images/"traditions" of Christmas (which may largely have originated in the immediate postwar era) are a powerful seasonal symbol of a time when Americans were proud of their way of doing things. Today, not so much, and rejecting tradition has become a game of provocation for many.
So yeah, Christmas trees that look dead in appearance, and so on.
Cheers

Probably a fair gripe if it's overshadowing the traditional stuff.
Besides, if everyone starts buying black trees then it won't be quirky and cool anymore,
as with unnatural hair colors and mohawks.

Are these AI responses to my post, something about the way it is written seems off to me.. Just curious.

Been celebrating Chinese New Year since I was born and have never seen it lumped with Christmas decor.

Hey Target, don’t have so much opaque black decor that sucks the light out of my eyes, XOXO JAGs

I would bet that the popularlity of Wednesday has contributed to the fad.
I had a bazillion Trick or Treaters. Ran out of candy in my large cauldron. The little girls were ALL dressed as Wednesday Addams
