The world turned a blind eye to antisemitism for far too long, until it was confronted with the nightmare of the Holocaust

So much of the world then gave Israel a big stick and permission to use it any way they wanted. Then it hid it's face in shame and pretended not to see the Palestinians the same way it pretended not to see the Jews earlier on

None if this is even ironic. It's human nature. People deserve human rights, and all humans want to survive

That's what it appears has been happening all along...something like Russia was/is doing with Ukraine...annexing, occupation, failed agreements, stringing Palestinians along with intermittent massacres for 70+ years, new oil reserves discovered, kill all Muslims? These are not 'peaceful pro-palestine' protests.
They are chanting the calls for Israels destruction and the death of Jews.
If they don't mean it ... they shouldn't say it.

Well if it's all the land Israel wants it will be a very long and bloody war because Hamas have the advantage with underground tunnel systems and the funding will continue for both sides from other countries with their political and monetary agendae. Human nature must also be self-destructive as well as destructive depending on the prize and level of madness.

I was listening somewhere yesterday to someone from the IDF describing that the tunnels are purposely built underneath hospitals, schools etc.

This is easy to believe about people that would put babies in ovens and make the parents watch them bake.

Pro-Israel at this point in time amounts to approving the actions of Israel's Prime Minister's continuing genocide of innocent Palestinian people of which I am against. So let's say not pro-Israel per se but rather anti-Netanyahu.

If Israel really wanted to wipe out Hamas they should be strategizing with tunnel warfare as how it was done in Vietnam, not what they are doing now.
