History repeats *sigh*
Jesus would once again be impaled for
being a pacifist and treating others as EQUALS.
Fascists are so evil, crossing the line into stupidity.

Not by Fascist judaic standards . . .
at least that what the cohen rabbis say.

Actually it you take a closer look at what these ultra right wing politicians say then it's not difficult to see they are extremists especially when they want total destruction and annihilation or to erase Gaza from the map. You can say ultra right wing fascists.

How would you handle an enemy sworn to utterly destroy you, your family, your entire religion?

Hugs?

Pinky-swears? (those are actually legally binding)

How would you handle your land being occupied and you and your family put in an open air prison?

One day, you will find out.

Question is not whether you believe in Jesus, more like does he believe in you?

What do you mean?
Was Jesus a historical person?

If he was and is the true son of God then he will be very proud of my stance on this matter and the fact that I want peace and prosperity and not war and destruction.

He won't be happy with the Politician who wants Gaza to be erased or with the warmongers of this platform who want to annihilate everyone and everything in the name of good...

lol

I'm not as confident that I could speak for the Lord and Saviour and Son of God, but you do you.

lol

If Jesus ever existed, but there is a huge controversy there, and if we accept what he allegedly preached then war and disaster wasn't part of his rhetoric or the complete destruction and annihilation of whatever 'Gaza' is out there.

It was never "their" land.

Turkey controlled the region until they sided with Germany and lost after WWII.

The land became owned by the British and French.

They gave it to the Jews after the enemy side (remember Turkey) tried to exterminate their entire race.

Netanyahou did it the traditional way and appealed to the old testament to argue war and destruction for the enemy.

Given the enemy feels exactly the same about Netanyahou's side, I think international diplomacy will always win against any military action. There would be a political solution and there will never be a military solution to the problem just as the State Department Official said in my other thread.

This is what he said and his words are wise

There is no military solution here and we are providing arms to Israel on a path that has not led to peace, has not led to security, neither for Palestinians nor for Israelis. It is a dead end

youtu.be...

The rhetoric used where Gaza is erased from the map or Israel is erased from the map and the continuous violence will lead nowhere.

If it was never their land why then would Israel need to negotiate any type of agreement with regard to borders etc.?

Some say Israel created Hamas, I wonder if they bomb it out of existence what new faction(s) will Israel create?

Their "original" border was different but all the Muslim nations kept trying to kill them all.

Again.

No squatters rights then? Just expel them out?

About 700,000 Palestinians were expelled or fled – about 85% of the Arab population of the territory captured by Israel – and were never allowed to return.

Palestinians called the exodus and eradication of much of their society inside Israel the Nakba, or “catastrophe”, and it remains the traumatic event at the heart of their modern history.

Arabs who remained in Israel as citizens were subject to official discrimination. They were placed under military rule for nearly two decades, which deprived them of many basic civil rights. Much of their land was expropriated and Arab Israeli communities were deliberately kept poor and underfunded.

It was dividing land without honoring agreements, expelling those already living on the land, occupation, do you know what that is? Where have I seen this before?

And now it's bombing the place and people out of existence. Where have I seen this before?

Ummm, not sure you know what war is.

You might want to watch a movie on it or read a bit on the subject.

It's not a war it is an ongoing political and religious conflict over land which will never end with both sides committing atrocities against each other and involving other players in the region. Does a war stop and start forever?

That I do agree with, in part.

So I'm siding with Israel and the Jewish folks.

I chose a side.

You can play on the fence you and so many others enjoy.

Even many Jewish folks don't agree with what the Israeli government is doing.
