Yeah. I don't think the Hamas charter should have any bearing on our policy decisions. Unless you want to act on their behalf, and look even more ridiculous in doing so, of course.
Must be really hard to come up with a more democratic, freedom upholding concept than collective punishment these days. Albigensian Crusade it is then, it's settled! Literally.

They can only launch rockets but with very limited success.
So it's okay if Hamas only destroys a little bit of Israel's infrastructure and just kills a few of Israel's citizens. Acceptable losses to keep the peace? Are you reading what you are writing?

It becomes more obvious everyday that Benjamin Netanyahu has a personal issue of some kind.
He could be compromised...
He could be afraid of taking out HAMAS leaders..
He could just enjoy playing War.

Except, that they've stated their decision, to bombard them indiscriminately, in advance. And with no regard for the hostages, which is why the protesters wont stop any time soon, either.

I was answering to another question when someone asked me whether Hamas can annihilate or defeat Israel. We know that this isn't possible. They are a negligible power in the military field. They can do nothing if they're contained. I never said it's ok to launch rockets.
The peace will only come when the US and other forces push both sides to agree to a two state solution without fences, rockets, air strikes, concentration camps, etc. Just as Biden said a few days ago i.e two state solution.

Oh yeah, Israel is supposed to curl up and die.
The kind of talk that makes parents mop up their kids in the sandbox.
Whatever, Angels. You're definitely off to bed early with this mouth.

Joe Biden is irrelevant.
It has long been Israel's preferred option that a Two State Solution and peaceful coexistence be agreed.
By far the biggest stumbling block has been Hamas's insistence on refusing to consider this.
You say Gaza is a large open prison but advocate locking it in behind a very secure wall.
Sounds pretty much like a secure prison to me.
I'm a firm believer in addressing root causes, not short term fixes and papering over cracks.
As long as Hamas exist as a potent force peaceful coexistence will never be possible.

So far the Palestinian death toll is over 8,000 and that's the figure given 4 days ago. As time passes more and more people die with these air strikes.
