As Israel bombards Gaza, media organisations and researchers are investigating what happened at the al-Ahli Arab Hospital where officials say hundreds were killed...

However, the conclusions of two analyses published on Friday express serious doubt in that narrative – and found that the projectile that hit the hospital was fired from the direction of Israel.

Forensic Architecture, a research group based at the University of London, analysed photos of the impact crater at the scene, saying that “patterns of radial fragmentation on the southwest side of the impact crater, as well as a shallow channel leading into the crater from the northeast” indicate the projectile likely came from the northeast – “the direction of the Israeli-controlled side of the Gaza perimeter”.

Chris Cobb-Smith, an investigator and explosives expert, also agreed the evidence indicated the projectile may have come from the opposite direction claimed by the Israeli military, according Forensic Architecture.

This lined up with the conclusions of a so-called “Doppler Effect analysis” by the Earshot audio investigation group, which looked at sound waves related to distance, and found that the missile likely approached from the northeast, east, or southeast, but not from the west as Israel’s military has claimed.

Investigations reveal discrepancies in Israel’s Gaza hospital attack claims

Doha, Qatar – Al Jazeera’s Sanad Agency has investigated the Israeli claim that the bombing of Gaza’s al-Ahli Arab Hospital was the result of a rocket misfire from Palestinian Islamic Jihad and not a result of Israel’s relentless bombing of the Gaza Strip since October 7.

Sanad’s investigation analysed time-coded footage from several sources, including a live broadcast by an Al Jazeera journalist at the time.

Video investigation: What hit al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza?

We could add more but I like it short and concise, and it looks pretty bad already.
Have at it!?

The truth is that we may never know, what happen in that explosion, Israel will claim that it was hams own ammunition and hamas will blame Israel for it.

Soo no explosive experts in the site to see how really happen, may if US ask nicely hamas will let them come and test the area, right?

If a missile malfunctions, it can go all over the place, it can loop or even shoot sideways or even straight up or down or go backwards or spiral. Seen some pictures of the trails of rockets that went berserk over the years.. I would speculate that if the missile malfunctioned it was possibly in the guidance system.

That's certainly people's right to have that opinion. But it's bias IMO. And I will always disagree.

I've seen the courtyard pictures. I've reposted them.

If that was Israel, they were using a Hamas Rocket.

I'm Howard Highes with kleenex boxes on my feet screaming "show me the blueprints" if that was an Israeli ordinance.

Airstrikes are generally carried out using F-16's, which native missile is the AGM-65 Maverick. Carrying the equivalent of 110+ pound of TNT. I do not see anything near that powerful..

The point of impact is known.

You honestly have to argue The Mossad dressed up like PIJ militants, using a far lesser ordinance than Israel would use in an airstrike. I kinda see The Mossad as having more honor than that.

Plus if it was Israel, and they were firing on a hospital, they'd actually hit the hospital. And if they were targeting a hamss vehicle in the parking lot, there's be nothing left or it and anything within a sizeable radius.

So, while trajectory could very well be telling, it's irrelevant because it's been debunked as an official Israeli ordinance...

Israel has lied so many times when things like this happen over this endless war that we should just assume, by this stage, that they are lying in every instance. Who doesn't think this looks exactly like an IDF action? It's exactly their MO.

All of them?!

Kinda funny tho, ATS doesn't disappoint. How does it feel to be the bad guy for using that brain, you're an evil Marxist as well?

It saddens me that people feel that way. No victim cards, genealogy results, or tales of girlfriends to use, just sadness.

Swastikas painted on synagogues. Missing Israeli fliers torn down, a country being increasingly berated to not support Israel. Wow.

I always felt they were our most important and influencial ally. It's gonna be sad to watch that go.

What guidance system?

It is a pipe filled with a low grade explosive and a small hole on one end. It also has fins stuck on that end and a large impact grenade on the other end.

No electronics, no gyros, no remote control, nothing.

They dug up some of the pipes out of the ground to make the rockets.

Now about the malfunction, the nozzle probably opened up to let the burning gas out unevenly and ar not enough pressure to continue the flight. This causes unexpected direction changes and falling without decelerating much.

Not much can be determined form the creater unless there is video of the actual impact as this rocket was made in someone's garage and not in a factory. They don't make them all the same way exactly. Couled have broken up on impact in several different ways.

Now, how exactly would Hamas know how many were killed within just a few minutes of the impact? A guess at best but most likely propaganda.

There is a case building that it was an airburst ordnance that was used to maximize casualties while minimizing structural damage. With all the people outside the hospital due to the crowed conditions, they did not have a chance.

How the roof of the cars have been pushed down is evidence that the point of explosion was above the hospital and not on impact with the ground.

Brighteon Broadcast News, Oct 19, 2023 - New video evidence points to Israeli AIR BURST bomb striking al-Ahli hospital grounds

Thee also appears to be a few small ground impact sites rather than just one big one that does fit with an air burst explosive.

Okay... The Airburst warhead is possible. The case is being forcibly built...

Well, if Israel did that, that's about the dumbest war move in the history of combat.

"Okay, how do we quickly cripple Hamas and destroy their influence. I know, well make them a victim by doing something so egregiously fuc*ed it permentantly screws over our claim to any higher ground."

So they thought they thought they could get anyway with it and just did it because they wanted revenge? Who else has these weapons, other than Israel?

Well they washed out the Music Festival in one airstrike if they attacked a hospital parking lot.

I'd have to excuse myself from this jury for bias, because I there be too much reasonable doubt to assert absolute innocence. With deleted tweets and what not. I'd have to say it's plausible.

Could neither blame or exonerate.

I just feel like I'm wanted to take an emotional outraged stand on this. It's freaking war. Every country kills 50 civilians for one belligerent target.

The focus on Israel and the call to condemn them is disproportional and rooted in bias. As is my refusal to outright condemn them so I virtue signal the side of highest morality.

Shrapnel tells the story.

Apparently the roof of the hospital was littered with it. It came from water pipe. Israel doesnt need to improvise rockets.

End of story.

What is with conspiracists and minimizing building damage. And first it’s Israel leveling Gaza. The it’s them using weapons to minimize building damage. Why would Israel care about a hospital as long as Hamas wasn’t launching attacks or hiding weapons. Israel tries to warn the area when they attack a Hamas site with human shields.

Anyway. There is a long history of Hamas rockets malfunctioning. It was a matter of time before this happened, or probably more applicable. To happen again.

Used this in another thread.

What air burst bomb does Israel have in their arsenal?

Shouldn’t there be more shrapnel holes in the top of the cars?. Vs how many you can count?

When Hamas has a history of missile misfires?

How Many Gaza Palestinians Were Killed by Hamas Rockets in May? An Estimate
By Dr. Alex Safian
June 27, 2021

besacenter.org...

Hamas aims to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible, but its rockets place both Israelis and Palestinians in peril, because many of those rockets—in this case 680—misfire and explode inside Gaza. The death and destruction caused is, of course, usually blamed on Israel. The question addressed here is how many Palestinians are likely to have been killed by these errant Palestinian rockets in May. The estimate arrived at is 91, amounting to 36% of the alleged Palestinian death toll.

. I’m I reading that right. May 2021. “680—misfire and explode inside Gaza” by Hamas

How many years has Hamas been using human shields, launching missile attacks against civilians with nothing but Jews targeted, and abusing women? Investing in missiles to kill Jews, evidently nothing on air defense for their own civilians. Their missile misfires taking out their own civilians. Then lying the deaths where from Israeli weapons. What exactly has the international community done? Now it’s about getting Jews people are all excited about human rights and war crimes all the sudden.

Maybe if the international community came down hard on Hamas in the past for their years of using human shields and terror attacks we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in now?

Of course you did, must be some friendly spam then.

Maybe you can tell us what kind of missile Hamas used to produce this damage, since you seem to know it all?

Simple. True or false. Hamas makes missiles out of about anything they can find? My friends reload for fun, I’m into model rockets/rocketry, Hamas lackeys build rockets as terror weapons.

Anyway..

How Hamas Makes Rockets against Israel | Qassam

Now. Someone posted this “Brighteon Broadcast News, Oct 19, 2023 - New video evidence points to Israeli AIR BURST bomb striking al-Ahli hospital grounds”

My question was simple. Why wasn’t the tops of the cars torn to shreds, holes blown by shrapnel down into the cars. Looks like a Hamas rocket cratered in the ground and exploded. Sometimes the simplest and most obvious answer is actually the answer.
