Even if I lose permanently access to my original account, made 19.5 years ago, if I still can be a member on ATS that's good enough for me.

Even if this is the end, it lasted more than I was expecting some years ago, and eventually, every things must end.

My mobile account was still logged in, and I could refresh and everything, but there were some features that I couldn't access, and I made the mistake of logging out of it.

Just checking to see if my phone will let me post (not responding to the specific poster above me.)

I was a member here originally in maybe 2008 or so.

Then I got logged out somehow YEARS later, maybe 2012?

The next thing I know, the site wouldn’t allow me to log back in for freaking YEARS.

I googled “Can’t log back into ATS,” and there were all sorts of people complaining about it.

The ATS website had a thread title like, “P.M. Mods to allow Login,” which was ironic, because of course one CANNOT PM a mod unless they ARE logged in!!

So all I can say is, it sucks ATS was hacked, but at least now I can rejoin.

Is anyone else in this thread a long time member?

I found Are you being served 2 ie grace and favour? on dvd but i havent found the original yet. at least at the shop. i try not to order online .

yeah same, i didnt even know anything was wrong at first, and tried to respond to an active thread.
I made this account on phone but it was eating my battery (old phone) and the font was so small, (old eye)...

so i logged out, and here i am...

I was at work and everything worked fine until I tried to reply to something and look at my upload page, I really do not want to lose that though. It is interesting they changed our passwords and emails.

There is no ownership now
Even if the site was totally destroyed ... there would be a backup of the SQL database.
I might post odd things and have the reputation of shouting from under a bridge , but in reality i am a senior IT engineer.

The site can be brought back... I dont think they want it to come back.

the site was on the its last legs compared to years ago.
There used to be 500 or so online members at one time , now it hovers around 90 .
most of the content is political trolling.

Been nice while it lasted.

Did you know that my first post on this site was about 23 years ago back in 2000 I think with the account my uncle was using at that time (being of course a young kid). I can't remember the account or what I had written. And I have known this site since then. But never had an account until...recently.
