Look at what happened last time the place went offline.

And the majority of ATS members matriculated to rogue-nation3.com.

Where there was very little to no moderation that could be seen.

To me it was somewhat reminiscent of the Wild West or Royal Rumble.

We might not all like the mods, and sometimes downright disagree with their antics and/or simplistic explanations they choose to provide for some of the actions they implement.

But without a modicum of rules, and semblance or order, the place just degenerates into a total anarchy and a free-for-all.

Which in my humble opinion is the reason so many members choose to return to ATS from rogue-nation3 when they paid their credit card bill last time around.

Lol, I've been returning to ATS for twenty plus years!
I've loved and loathed mods to an equal degree🤣 but the standards/house rules at ATS have always been consistently better than sooo many other 'conspiracy' places on the internet.

In 2020 I woke from a coma to a crazy covid death world, where emergency rules had been passed, and everyone in authority was scared, just following instructions/orders. It was like my own version of "28 Days Later"

The very first site I went to (when I was given my mobile phone back) was ATS, and within minutes I discovered that it was only killing the same people flu does, and it was suspicious enough BS so I discharged myself...and rode it out safe at home from project fear.

ATS has been my 'go to' source of world news for a long time now, and I hope it can recover from whateverTF has gone on behind the curtains!

If you are speaking from a physical perspective as opposed to the metaphorical sort, that is indeed nightmare fuel waking up to that sort of scenario.

I also hope the site can be restored to the manner it was before the glitch or attack.

Yep, my coma wake-up into 2020 craziness was real world stuff, and ATS really really was my first port of call online, to find out opinions/views from what I call 'normal' conspiracy folk!

I include yourself and most of the old Brit members in my 'normal conspiracy folk' lol, OldCarpy, Freeborn, to name a couple as well.

Tell you the truth, we've crossed swords in a few threads over the years, but you've always been consistent in your views...and I proper smiled when I saw you got reborn after 'the happening' over the last 24hrs👍

Hopefully, it's fixable, but i don't know enough about networks to be able to say so unequivocally.

There must be a backup or shadow copy through, and we already know there is the ability to reset passwords via email.

Restoration of accounts might be on the cards, or at least i hope that's the case.

I read your post about that recently, sounds like a right sore one getting CPR...I was lucky enough to be within metres of a defibrillator so electricity brought me back to life...not my fishing mate breaking ribs!
