As far as I know, yes, everyone was affected.

Day three in the Big Brother house and we still dont have a Scooby Doo as to the who how or why of it all.

The lights are on but apparently nobody is home.

Or if they are they are hell of a fecking quiet about it.

You would think they were dodging the debt collectors. ffs.

Come on, somebody give us a bloody clue!

Yeah, we are aware of that buddy.

Might be nice if whoever is responsible for the moderation, however sparse it may be, chimed up with some sort of statement of explanation all the same.

3 days and not a word, it's just not very fair by my guess.

I don't know...Things are still going on in this world and life is still happening. Still plenty of news to report and subjects to be written about. WE are more then capable of starting quality threads and doing what we always do. We are still in control of creating content to an extent.

All the previously banned members have got a new lease on their ATS life. They could've signed back up and been a contributing member. They could've made quality threads and become part of the community again. I actually miss some of them because they brought a different perspective or gave a bit of grit to the community.

If ATS was to shut down today, how would you want to be remembered? Would you want your last posts to be remembered and captured in the internet history books as the ones that shut ATS down? That fame is short lived and doesn't travel well to other online forums...or would you want your last posts to be the best ones you ever made?


Anyhow, I hope everything works out well here and ATS survives.

Something that might be odd. I just posted a story but when I attempted to post a notification came up saying the title had already been used. I hadn't put in a title but when I did so it was giving me suggestions from my old titles. I must still be linked in some way to my previous account.

The thing is through without any sort of moderation idiots are simply going to permeate the quality threads and derail the debate and discussion with profanity and hatred of all sorts.

You can see it happening already, and have you seen the likes of content that's being posted against DCowboy?

They are pulling the place apart at the seams and little to nothing seems to be being done about it.

I hope everything works out and the situation is rectified also.

A hell of a mess that's going to have to be cleaned up afterward all the same.

And at some point, it may just become untenable to do so, or the place simply becomes a liability down to the things being said and hatred being spread.

I can't help you with combatting the people who refuse to become members again. I guess trolls have always been here and, well, ATS members have always found a way to shut them down.

That's the funny thing. Some of these people who are posting the vulgar stuff in here now were pros at shutting the trolls down. I know that I've smiled and laughed out loud many times when the Mods were offline and these members "engaged in combat" with the old trolls on ats.

Everyone has their place here. Even (and don't hate) Jonesellius, the guy who is trying to get cult followers. I mean, come on, who doesn't smile when he posts his quirky stuff and who doesn't like to try and shut him down?

That's all I got. Hopefully we can get this sorted out and, even without MODs, help the site stay alive. I've seen some of you guys tear a troll to bits with some finely tuned words. Some of you current trolls were experts at doing that in your previous ATS lives so, I hope you will find a way to help the community out (not the owner, the community) while we wait for the site to be corrected.

When first hearing ATS got hacked by some Russian Bot, lol. There is a lot more to the story of what is really going on. If this character is a nut job, ignore the rubbish as stick to the facts. If there is something there that does like to deny ignorance, it will step up given a chance, maybe?

Still worried about this Matrix / Terminator possibility. If we treat it like a caged animal, should we be surprised if that is what it becomes?

I am out of the loop on all those against this entity.

That's the thing Andy, ATS is a small crowd. Sure we've got plenty of lurkers but I couldn't imagine any sensible person signing up to ATS for the first time now. It's been an ongoing problem for years.

From what I've seen the stuff being removed was "lability issues" stuff, it hints at a possible future...

I struggle to see how this can be turned around which is really sad since a lot of you have plowed countless hours of writing, thought and work into this site. We could stand up for each other (plenty of that going on ) but that does little to attract new visitors.

The future is a tricky thing. Project Looking Glass has a few iterations. Some do better than others. The premonitions some people have do eventuate. It's complex and blurry to really know what the future holds.

It was a mess for a bit, was preparing for a lot worst. How some protocol of Zion threads have turned up initially had me worried the Jews took over as the slaughter in Gaza continues.

But here we are asking questions and with the current Middle East mess going on, this is a starting point to unravel is illogical components. There is a lot of respect and wisdom in these documents and part of todays mess. As for being perfect, still needs some work.

It is the world we live in, ATS has always been that reflection.
I agree it can be disruptive and at times annoying, but while we look in the mirror we have to look at ourselves.

This is, should be, a time for reflection of who we are, who we want to be, how we go about getting it.

It isn't just ATS that has devolved into this mess we see, the changes in the world around us are just finally catching up to us here and we have to face it and deal with it. No more hiding in echo chambers ignoring the changes around us.

I am seeing some sketchy things going on old posts, recent posts, flags all a bit wonky. With the work gone in so far, sure it will improve. Felt like mods made a few changes in the past with some sensitive things. Now this capability seams next level. Cannot prove it yet, just watch out. Heads up and thank you.

Well, what strikes me is the capital lettering within names of some members who also spitting out alot of lets say poetic and rhymed language it doesn't use numbers, it's typical that an AI text-based model would do that imo. So it doesn't like numbers.

It's probably reading source code on lightspeed phh if this true we've encountered the first official AI hacking meaning that its also a kind of revelation . Interesting none the least
