lol, I hadn't messed with it since the day I made my account back in aught 7. It took a min for those tubes to warm up.

Not really.
Looks like all accounts were compromised.
Including mods.

Hope you have comms with the admins. Maybe a backup can be restored and the vulnerability patched (if what happened is what I suspect happened).

Here's some more good news... Our old picture libraries still seem to be intact, even if we can't access them from our old accounts. Here's the last one DTOM posted in the SS Contest which originated from my image directory. There's hope yet for a complete restore to who we were, the way we were.

Something is done well on this site for such a special Friday treatment.

What a better way to start this day with a great thread in....one of my favourite subjects!

My take is the access to accounts is the most of what has happened (but not all).

All it would take is diddling the password file.

The removal of the naughty words filter ... though ... sounds like something in start-up scripts got removed or "commented out".

I'm still logged in on my pc, I can see all my posts and threads but I can not post or start new threads.
And all my account/profile info is blank
