That's why I put "but it doesn't feel the same".
I have been around server farms for a long time, and could write a book on the subject of how this could happen.
RAID bad stripes, having a server shut down abruptly without time to perform a write through.
Good thing is, most server farms have TBUs or some form of media to restore from backup . With TBUs, and the amount of data, this could take a long time to restore.

Or, it could be a loss of the ACL as well.

What worries me is how vulnerable ATS might be without the Moderators... I think even they are locked out and have lost their powers.

We need to be vigilant - Caution if clicking external links. The alert system still seems to be working, but is there anyone at the other end of the line?

You are looking at the old ATS. It will still function, yet very limited . Do not sign out as I did.
