A plea deal means she is admitting guilt to some but not all charges.

Bill Clinton golf antics are akin to stealing the pen at the bank, Trump us like stealing the entire vault.
It's comical you think that is a valid comparison.

A plea deal actually means I can't spend the next 5 years and millions of dollars to prove my innocence. When NY finally drops charges against Trump do they back pay his legal costs...
So the Government can just bleed you dry for as long as they like and in the end, they can say, well I guess we really have no case against you, you are fee to go and you walk away with nothing and that was their goal in the beginning.

If the gov. were after me I'm pretty sure they could drum up enough 'evidence' to ruin the rest of my life.

Once again, Powell would not have been offered such a generous deal of her testimony was worthless.

Yes, yes, yes, it was a plea deal. An admission of guilt on lesser charges rather than taking a chance on an innocent decision for harsher charges.
She will receive a minor monetary penalty along with 6 years of probation and a requirement to write an apology to the people of Georgia .
She also, as part of her plea has agreed to testify honestly about her co-defendants at future trials.
A lower-profile defendant in the case, bail bondsman Scott Graham Hall, last month pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to five years of probation and agreed to testify in further proceedings.
My guess is he asked them to soil themselves so they al quit en mass. IMO, this is the 3d strike on Trump and all involve Attorneys. This dude has some bad karma in him. IMO his goose is cooked.

"A plea plea deal is an agreement in criminal law proceedings, whereby the prosecutor provides a concession to the defendant in exchange for a plea of guilt or nolo contendere. This may mean that the defendant will plead guilty to a less serious charge, or to one of the several charges, in return for the dismissal of other charges; or it may mean that the defendant will plead guilty to the original criminal charge in return for a more lenient sentence."

You dont play golf if you think Clinton's 30+ handicap antics compare to Trump's blatant cheating. I have been playing since I was 14.
That said I am not sure if Powell actually believed Trump or saw it as opportunity to make a some easy money.
Her testimony will put Trump in the slammer, that I'm sure of.
