It is the law. Prosecutors have to prove mens rea. They couldn't do that. As a result the case was dropped.

The server in the bathroom provides all the criminal mind required.

The case was dropped because then AG Loretta Lynch left the decision up to Comey who then made his "no reasonable prosecutor" declaration.

Nice try.

In general, every crime is composed of three elements, the actual act (actus rea,) the intent (mens rea,) and causation. If prosecutors cannot show all three then a crime did not occur.

Comey said they could not show mens rea.

She believed no crime was being committed by having the email server.

false. if a prosecutor cant prove all three then she wont charge for the crime, and comey didnt even say a prosecutor couldnt charge...just that

“our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”

Doesn't matter.

Ignorance of the law doesn't absolve you of breaking it.

Having the server installed in an unsecure location meets mens rea. When the classified information followed, it only cemented that assertion.

Can we get back on topic? Please: Sidney Powell pleads guilty

Hillary only came into this when poster stated we should respect Sidney because of her past history.

I said read Hillary's bio history -- it doesn't stop posters from ripping her apart.

But it sure does show the pattern of a very biased law system

heh.

You should probably just worry about your own posts......

Anyway, the fact that HRC was not charged and that DJT is, and the extent of each, spells out very clearly to the American people who is above the law...and who is not.

That is not what this thread is about.

Hillary has a very respectable bio history -- did that keep posters from trashing her?

Should it keep posters from trashing Sidney -- that she had a respectable past?

Sidney, like Clinton, made their very public beds.

Folks are going to have opinions.

Yes.

But Clinton does have a respectable bio history -- which never stopped anyone from trashing her.

So, its not gonna fly that Sidney gets a pass.

Respectable? Clinton?

I guess that's one perspective.

Are you going into dementia or alzheimer's?

As you seem to be repeating yourself....

Or perhaps you've run out of useful conversation.

Both Sidney and Hillary have a respectable bio history.

Both did stupid later in life.

Neither gets a pass from being trashed by posters on ATS.

Done -- this does not need to be dragged out any more than it has.

Then stop talking about it maybe?

Anyway, Powell got a pretty good deal. I'm curious to what she'll testify to should the time come.

Also, I'd like to see HRC put on trial as well. Get to the mens rea behind her actions combined with her history of being a truly despicable person not only in politics but in her private life as well.

Have you read her bio history?

Hitler, Mao, Stalin aĺl had better bio history than Clinton but all them and her had similar objectives

I live in the present.

Annee is a fan.

Globalism and authoritarians are her political ideals.

Does bring up an interesting question though. I wonder how much damage the Clintons can do out of office vs in....
