I mean, I literally quoted one of the cases and cited it.

Seattle Times Co. v. Rhinehart, 467 U.S. 20 (1984)

Sheppard v. Maxwell, 384 U.S. 333 (1966)

You quoted the piss dossier as well.

Is a murder suspect being tried for murder allowed to show up in court with a gun?

If not, why would a loud mouthed hate spewing madman accused of using that mouth to overthrow the American election be allowed to use that mouth to spew hatred while being tired for that very crime.

That's quite a good analogy! And you're right, his mouth got him in trouble, this order is for his own benefit, it's just a shame most don't see it that way.

He's employing the same strategy that he's using in New York. He knows he can't win the case on legal grounds so he's attempting to agitate the judge to the point that they make a mistake so he can argue judicial misconduct on appeal.

Don't think I ever did. But I fail to see what that has to do with established case law.

How about the 2 Georgia women who pretty much lost everything because of Trump's election lies?

The two who were first told to go home, then people left and they were then told to start counting ballots again? A news outlet outed them not Trump btw.

How about the people who were injured, specifically law enforcement, on January 6 because of him spewing more lies?
Ashli Babbitt was killed by her own government unarmed. If she was black DC would have burnt to the ground...

Trump was still delivering his speech when the capital was breached......

The umm, "leader" of the um..."insurrection" wasn't even in DC.

But, this is all a rehashing of established facts.

This thread is about what will happen if Trump is jailed. See the headline? Why do you keep trying to derail the topic with your off topic accusations. I"ve stated my opinions and you are free to reflect on them or not.

Maybe if I lived in Germany in 1943 or the USSR in 1984.

No one said anything about get out jail free. You think it is ok to silence people who have not been found guilty yet.

"The government silences opposition for the benefit of the oppressed."

How could anyone argue with that logic.

Is being a former POTUS supposed to be a get-out-of-jail-free card?

Obama killed a 16 year old American citizen......

And Trump killed his 8 year old sister. Funny how you missed that fact out!

You had the first post after the OP. You were derailing then and you accuse someone else....

That does not read like an answer to the OP.

Accusations?

No, Terry.

Following your own logic to its conclusion.

I'm sorry if it comes across as accusations.

So where's the charge?

You know, since everyone is suddenly "law and order" oriented where Trump is concerned....

Typical
Neither you cited have anything to do with a gag order on a defendant.
The trial judge in the second case ruled neither he nor anyone could restrict news accounts.

Try harder

Please, can you attempt to stay on topic here? What do you think will happen when Trump is jailed. I have stated that I do not think he will be jailed because he will not break that partial gag order. Do you think he will break it

Uhm....she was killed about 2 weeks after he was in office. Pretty sure that op would have already been in place. It is sad, very much so, but they also use their children as shields. She was collateral damage and it is a shame but the older son was targeted and a US citizen.

Playing? Are you playing? You think that he will be jailed and I think he will not. Not because it is only a partial gag order concerning the people involved in the court. I think he is either to wise to break it or to much a coward to break it.

However, what I would think about putting a former potus in prison is good, if that former potus is found guilty of what he is charged with. What do you think about it?
