Expulsion requires a 2/3 vote. It does not prohibit the expelled Congressperson for running for the seat again.

While I'll agree that accusations of violations of statutes should be met with a court filing, less it be dismissed as slander, the course toward more censorship is something I am against.

Hopefully Desantis will see this as a good campaign issue and raise hell if they screw with Gaetz.

The people who voted them in are also getting tired of them. AOC gets booed by her own constituents as time and time again she makes really bad decisions that actually negatively affect her area and I think people there see it. Omar comes from a very heavy Solmolia immigration area in Minnesota, maybe they will be tired of her as she does nothing for them too.

Calling for a cease fire is neither controversial nor the equivalent of rape and murder or an endorsement of rape and murder.
