“The Squad” needs to be kicked out of federal government and tried for treason.

So where in the U.S. Constitution does it say that an oath of office must include the words "...and to insure that above all else, the Jewish State of Israel must be maintained as Jewish, no matter the cost."

Because failing to support Israel is far more costly, in multiple ways, then supporting Israel.

Don’t support Israel, I can see NATO falling apart, for instance.

Oh and then there’s the whole terror group issue…

So, yeah. Failing to support Israel poses a real threat to national security. For a lot of people.

So, are you in favor of a Constitutional Amendment requiring support for Israel as a Jewish State be added to oaths of office?

Given the U.S. position, it just might pass. Just a tweak to the first amendment.

I listened to Biden's speech, I paraphrase: "The Jewish and Democratic State of Israel is the only place safe for Jews in the World".

Those are the words of a Zionist. Biden is Zionist along with probably 90% of U.S. politicians.

What about the U.S. ? Isn't the duty of every American to insure the safety and security of all Jews in the U.S.?

I get the anti-zionism position. And can grasp the Palestinian point of view. I just have an unapologetic bias for Israel.

Much is the same way a former Lebanese acquaintance had an unapologetic bias against. She would call them "illegal settlers", and add they are allowed to force peaceful people from their rightful homes at will and get away with it because they're jews.

Our ability to see eye to eye would be non-existent today for reasons I don't feel need repeating. But I still will.

Plus these cowardly little Hamas drones are doing things that make Nazi storm troopers look restrained.

Compassion is currently gone for Palestine as a sovereign state until such time Israel forcibly removes EVERY HAMAS affiliated person from their parliament. That's 74 of 132 PLC seats that need to be deposed.

They are a 'democratic' terrorist state so long as freaking Hamas has is a MAJOR voice in their government. Which means the bad elements of Iran have a foothold poised to do JUST THIS to Israel, like they've wanted to since 1978.

What the F is Israel supposed to do? Their internal neighbor has a parliament made up of people who hate them to the core.

And they still felt safe enough for this to completely take them by surprise. 1200+ dead because Jerusalem belongs to Islam and Allah is greatest.

I'm not going to go take it out on the middle eastern restaurants or anything, but F*ck Palestine, F*ck Iran.

Non-sequitor.

You’re missing the perspective I’m coming from.

If you start with the assumption that by virtue of being a federal politician that you support the broader national interest and the interests of America as a nation and her allies nations.

You might quibble about many things internally, but, national security must exist to even have that debate in the first place.

Whether a politician likes Israel or doesn’t, doesn’t matter. Like at all. The support of Israel does many things:

- Reaffirms we stand by our allied nations.
- Hunts terrorists that want to hunt us, too.
- Gives us a path to potentially get involved directly w/Iran
- Feeds the US industrial base materially.

More.

So saying you side with Hamas - which are the Palestinians - admits none of the four bullets (and other reasons, too) that strong support for Israel is a good idea.

And if you don’t support things like the above, you’re not supporting national interests if you’re thinking strategically over longer periods of time.

So, IMO, they gotta be investigated/removed/etc. and barred from office going forward.

They represent a legitimate national security threat - which is one that impacts a lot of people, from most all walks of life, in the US.

To be fair, Israel felt safe because Christians need the State of Israel for their Armageddon and their end time prophecies. Then the Jews, the Muslims, the Pagans et al, will all be Barbeque for Christ!

I had to look that up. PLC=Palestinian Legislative Council 67 needed for majority.

I should just STFU, all my ideology is from History rather than the present.

Over the long strategic view, the U.S. unconditional support of an ethnoreligious state, not consistent with international law has been like a cancer eating away at the soul of American position of Liberal Democracy Worldwide. The rule of law is in the sh#t can.

If Geneva Conventions don't apply for our friends, how in the hell do they apply anywhere? I guess it's time for me to wake up to the new post-NWO World where only might makes right.

Well, Iran one once the non radicalized Islamic country. They were more westernized and had awesome rugs. That was apparently a problem. When their Ayahtollah Khomeini called for the extermination of Israel it sorta changed Iran entirely.

I did a quick glance over, it looked to me like the present Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the one who went totally hostile to Israel.

Ruhollah_Khomeini
Most of his period in power was taken up by the Iran–Iraq War of 1980–1988. He was succeeded by Ali Khamenei on 4 June 1989.

Israel was helping Iran during that war, even took out Iraq's nuclear power plant. I was rooting for Iran then, mostly 'cuz they were flying my planes, "Rah! Rah! F-4s vs MiGs!"

Touche. I went the religious angle first.

But I don't care about Christian eschatology. I'm not gonna find significance in it happening on 10/7 as an omen like some might. It's always christian armegeddon.. I don't see it as end times as much storm troopers revisted.

After crying over videos about the Rave ambushed, I saw something about Hamas cartoons for Palestinian school children instituted by their government majority.

Highlights include "Illegal settlers", "The land belongs to Allah", "Jerusalem belongs to Allah", "Your duty is to fight Israel," so I inferred that this was a common view of Muslims, and had that confirmed enough to generalize.

For me, this is about religious lands in a different way.

49 countries have a majority Muslim population.
1 country has a Jewish majority.

And it's internally subverted by Iran via Palestine as a puppet entity.

Christians benefit, but to me this is about Islam's need to have THE ULTIMATE religious say in all Abrahamic holy land. Jews, Christians, and Armenians are all fine sharing Jerusalem, Muslims are still at war with the idea. The UN had the audacity to dare displace them for a Jewish state. And then dare not give them control of Jerusalem.

They refused to leave upon mandate to clear the Jewish state territory. Not inhumane, the immediate aftermath of WWII and relocation. And the many Diasporic jews that survived the Holocaust that deserved somewhere to go.

And if I was Israeli, I'd be a heavy-handed thug too if I was surrounded by the fruits the Islamic revolution bore.

It's really hard for me to apply egalitarian ideals to those who lack them culturally. That currently includes support for Hamas' Palestine.

Possible plan based on my prejudice against Saudi Arabia:

1) Palestinians have been in a stateless limbo for 75 years. Which means as long as they are under U.N. umbrella no country will accept them as citizens due to the "useless hope that right of return may apply to them".

2) If Saudi Arabia wants to be the big cheese in the whole region, let them be the umbrella. Saudis will pay each Palestinian who wants citizenship in an Arab country a living wage equivalent pension adjusting annually for inflation. That way, there is an incentive for countries like Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, etc. to have economically stimulating consumers added to their demographics.

3) Those Palestinians choosing to remain sign a waiver forfeiting full citizenship rights (like voting rights) for a 10 year period. Maybe be counted as 3/5 of a person for census purposes.

=========
Once Eretz Israel is achieved the religious Jews will then turn against the secular Jews because the secular Jews were just a tool for the religious to get the heavy lifting done. Once they are no longer needed ...
