$6 billion owed by South Korea to Iran for oil were unfrozen. That money was transferred to a bank account in Qatar. The money can only be used for certain things and if it's used for anything outside the guidelines the amount will become frozen again.

Of course, this all ignores the fact that Hamas' attack would've taken months to plan.

So what US money went towards this attack?

Did we not purchase $400 million worth of military equipment in the 1970s and then never pay them?

As part of the nuclear deal they got the $400 million in cash and then we're supposed to get $1.8 billion in interest at a later date. I can't find anything that says they've actually gotten the $1.8 billion.
