I totally hear you. It's just baffling how some folks who claim to follow Christ's teachings can support leaders like Trump, whose actions often seem completely contrary to the principles of love, tolerance, and understanding.
And yeah, you're absolutely right about the whole mix of religion and politics in the U.S. It's like some leaders have forgotten the idea of the separation of church and state. Trump's time in office, no matter which side of the political spectrum you're on, seemed to heighten these divisions rather than bridge them. I think a lot of people, myself included, don't believe his impact on the U.S. was a positive one.
It's just a reminder of how crucial it is to be mindful of who we choose as our leaders and what values they stand for. We need leaders who promote unity, not division.
Yes , white Scandinavians didn’t import 500 thousand black slaves into their countries like America did .

no such thing as either a moderate or centrist the extreme end of liberalism is a merger of capitalism/socialism and a return to slavery/serfdom.. we saw that when liberalism died in the 1920s with Nazism, fascism and Stalinism opportunistically taking liberalism to its natural conclusion..
Let me get this straight. You are opposed to MAGA because you see it as a throwback to when the system was only working for white men, and then you point to other white countries on how things should be run. Lefties...it's like they don't even listen to what they themselves say, let alone their political opponents.
here you go www.justice.gov...

The lefts has radicals for sure , but Trump & his right wing nationalist cult is a danger to our Constitution & Country.
That one sentence show me 2 things.
You claim to hate both sides but obviously lean hard to the Left, finding excuses for the behavior and 2nd, you are woefully ignorant about the motives of the Right.
"armed to the teeth"
Yes. Yes we are.
ETA - You call ANTIFA just youthful rebellion, but if it was a group from the Right that was burning and looting, it would be called Right Wing Domestic Terrorists !! A Threat To Our Democracy !! and there would be calls from the Left to round them and throw them in jail. The Left won't even admit ANTIFA exists and if they do, they, like you, find excuse to overlook their acts of terrorism.
I hate hypocrisy , thus my thread exists

Curious why you would post a politics thread then. Trying to pursuade others when you don't play the game yourself?
Civil rights act passed in 1965 by LBJ made it Federal. Until then many States restricted or prohibited Blacks from voting. 103 years ago women couldn’t vote .

What country didn't let blacks vote 58 years ago?
I don't know. Black people could vote in the U.S. well before 58 years ago.
No problem, as you can see the truth sure upsets people.

Yeah, and I'll call with a Talib, a Maxine Waters, Omar and raise you an AOC
Where did you get that poll? I sincerely doubt it. Unless you polled Islamics.
Whenever someone gets aggro about their elders, I just laugh and laugh.
You'll get to experience it soon enough, unless you flame out of here sooner.
Either way, I find amusing.
MAGA Baby. Greatest human endeavor ever accomplished and can return to greatness, if you Marxist fools don't destroy it.
