It's not data provided by FiveThirtyEight. It's data analyzed by then but the results of these elections are all publicly available. From there, it's not hard to compare how current candidates are doing compared to how these districts voted in 2020.

Let's examine the way they word their examples...

For instance, the Democratic candidate in a Wisconsin State Assembly special election last month lost by just 7 points in an area where Republicans have a 22-point edge and where Trump beat Biden by almost 17 points in 2020.

What this really says is that the Democrat candidate ONLY LOST by 7 points instead of 22 points...even though they STILL LOST.

In a New Hampshire special election in May for a state House seat, the Democrat won by 43 points, far beyond the party's estimated 23-point edge in the district.

What this really says is that the DEMOCRAT in a DEMOCRAT DISTRICT won by 43 points instead of the 23 points they expected. So what?

Here's what I suggest. Never pay attention the articles where someone claims to analyze the data without providing you with a link to their work that actually shows the data. The rest of this article is just a bunch of propaganda word salad trying to match the headline that most likely doesn't exist. Who gets to determine what and where the "point edge" starts? Is it an average based on polling in the district? Who was the polster?

The fact that this swing is across the board, both in Republican and Democrat strongholds and everything in between is why it's significant. Elections aren't won in the strongholds. Their won in the districts and states where a candidate wins by a few percentage points.

If Dems overperform in those districts by 10 points, that's suddenly a lot more districts going to the Dems.

Like I said, don't trust articles where the analyzer or polster doesn't show their work and the data that they are analyzing.

This next election will be like no other.

I've even seen Republican polsters, in the details of their polls, eliminate 600 responses out of 1,500 people polled to a question regarding Trump vs. Biden because they claim that part of the data was mysteriously "lost" for that particular question. Beware!

The sooner we get a House Speaker, the sooner we can upgrade the Biden Impeachment Inquiry, to a full-blown Biden Impeachment Hearing.

If Joe and Hunter were smart (they're not), they would let Garland indict them for financial crimes, and promptly pardon themselves.

But it will probably be the next Trump DOJ who indicts Hunter, Joe, Jim and more.

The Impeachment Inquiry is still ongoing. Republicans don't use the bright-light showboat televised platform, like small brained Democrats do, while performing official duties. (Jan 6th Committee Circus, Pulling Fire Alarms, Fake Public Prayers, etc..)
