If they wanted to protect children them they would have banned the transgender propaganda and indoctrination in schools and offline, the pride events, and the woke nonsense online and offline. And information relating to gender affirming care and butchering of genitalia.

I'm in the UK and had the herion, alcohol and sex additct Brand's comedy and anarchist views shoved down my throat for the last few years and I've watch enough of his videos to know someone playing the crowd for likes (££££)

It's not about protecting kids but restricting free speech.on rumble and elsewhere. If they wanted to protect kids then there are a lot of things they could do like ban the gender nonsense and propaganda in schools. That's truly harmful. Free speech on Rumble isn't.

We could see huge fines for Twitter/X if musk refuse to take down what the government decides is harmful disinformation.
Which I doubt Musk will pay-so X could get blacklisted/banned..in theory.

Another part of the bill covers encryption apps-they wont be allowed anymore(Just like in China!) unless the government has a back door for snooping on users.
So stuff like whatsapp,must comply-otherwise they become subject to huge fines-and even users can get 6 months in prison for using any app without the approved back door software-that was also in Neil Wards video I posted.

So whatsapp are already saying they will be forced to stop operating in the UK as they will not compromise security of users.

It is your responsiblity ,as a parent, to protect your child from harmful online content. You can't expect sites to be blocked/banned , or for free speech to be banned, because 'potentially' someone could say something bad to your child.

Look at China giving a life sentence to someone talking about their culture.

It was done under the guise of safety. Protecting children too.

Anything can be turned into protecting children.

We are seeing the start of this when children can be taken away from parents and the child's penis can be removed by the State. This is only the start.

Under communism, parents could not provide religious information - to protect them.

In some Muslim countries, you can't talk about female castration (a common practice) because talking about banning this horrific practice is considered obscene.

I didn't say the government isn't trying to shut him down. IF he's a rapist and possible sexual predator then they should go after him. He's like a less stabby Charles Manson pushing for Helter Skelter, but Brand is doing it for money and clicks, and I think anyone pushing an unproven conspiricy purely for money should be de-monetized, especially if it causes idiots to cause civil unrest.
What you seem to be missing is the fact that these people can still post their drivel but they realise they aren't getting the money they so desperately want, they aren't being shut down, they just scream that for money...
