I agree I am from that same time period. Sex education entailed mostly learning the anatomy, how long a baby forms etc, preventive sex of course, but seriously I don't even think kids are even learning any of that after hearing all this perverted garbage that is being taught. That isn't sex education by any means.

Maybe read the first sentence of my comment again if you think I want 7 year olds to learn about sex.

High school yes I think its a good thing teenagers learn about sex, not in a dirty or graphic way like some of those books... and there are homosexual teenagers they shouldnt be excluded from learning about how it works either. That only creates bad situations.

Part of the instruction is how to use gay porn on the internet. This is just a hard no. They have no right whatsoever to teach anything like that to kids.

I can't fathom where your head is at here. Kids need to be kids for as long as possible, the world is a hard and cruel place. Innocence is way underrated. In a society where we are struggling with human connection, porn has nothing good to offer.

I watched a televised school board meeting out of Colorado. One of the parents was holding a book up and showing the board members the illustrated page of a book about being gay and showing a couple having oral sex. The parents had every right to demand that the book be thrown out of the library. Parents are growing more and more frustrated and angry about this push for sexuality in schools as well as they should be.

Well, you're right the book probably shouldnt be available in schools. I agree that porn is not healthy for kids but my main point was that i doubt this book or books are actually impacting a number of kids. What kids are actually checking out these books?

Main point was that parents should be monitoring their kids internet access as that has far more impact than any overly sexual lgbt books.
