I got out of high school before you but no where ever did any teacher ever talk about anal sex. EVER!)
I graduated high school in 1980. There was no anal sex talk. No sex toy talk. No pee'n and poop'n on people talk. No discussions on how to go out and get gay sex. SEX ED was just that ... reproduction and how babies were made. That's what sex ed is. Reproduction discussions ... not how to troll the internet for gay dates and gay porn.
I 100% Swear they totally talked to us about anal sex. I’ve never forgotten it because I didn’t know what it was before that point. The teacher also showed us a condom and put it on a banana. Keep in mind this was also a time of high teen pregnancy.
They didn’t talk about pee or poop but I do remember them talking about self um… love…
What was the name of your school?
Porno High? Anal Academy?
Was your football team called, "The Wankers?"
WTH!
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

The important part is the libraries index... Otherwise it's not even sure these books are actually exposed by the libraries.
I can get real porn bring it to a library and make pictures too...
Somone somewhere doesn't consider it porn and his assessment is bassed on the strictest porn guidelines in the western world. Ask the authors about the PG process in the USA.
If that's still too free for those religious extremist, I'm sure there are other countries that are morally better suited for them.

Do you have any idea what an epidemic porn use has become? It's become a major addiction and is causing a lot of problems with relationships, not to mention ties to sex trafficking. It's destroying marriages.
Just look up all of the support groups for partners who are with those who are sex addicted. Heavy porn use rewires the brain and for those who are addicted, they need more and more depravation to get off. Soon enough, they can't perform with their partners as a result.
Children don't need any exposure to sex like this in school. Oh, and I am not religious in any way, just disgusted by the porn industry in general.

How old are the kids that can check out these books? I couldn't find anything in the article besides mentioning school districts?
If its elementary school, I get parents being a bit upset if their kid can check these books out. However, I don't see the issue if it's high school level kids.
Furthermore, is anyone actually checking these books out? I'd be suprised if these were being checked out by kids and being kept from their parents.
This might be an issue ... in an amish society..
It is fundamentally counterproductive to society. The gaying of the West will never stand up against the communist cavemen in the future.

This is more endemic than covid.
And will probably end up with more deaths.
This is a sickness, a rot, a festering pus-filled infection that is being promoted by the left.
It was in Colorado, but I just looked and it appears the sex ed class varied on region.
You are probably more of a tossed salad type or just soup.

Oh nice, a gay slur.
Seems like a wierd thing to get upset about in this day and age.
Repressed sexuality, and childhood trauma, is the most probable cause for such emotional reactions...
it appears the sex ed class varied on region.
In Kenya for example, an NGO called No Means No Worldwide, has been organising consent classes where girls are taught to say “No” and trained in self-defence. In the meantime, young boys are also trained to have a different perspective on gender and adopt a more positive masculinity. Where the classes have been taught, the incidences of sexual harassment have decreased by 50 percent.
A Brazilian-based NGO called Promundo runs a powerful programme that engages young men and has been successful in changing violent norms related to masculinity through participatory meetings.
Various aspects of this programme have been implemented in 26 countries around the world. Evaluations done afterwards in eight African, Asian, Latin American and southeastern European countries showed positive changes in attitudes on gender equality and in self-reported behaviour such as couples communication, violence, condom use and caregiving.
