I agree. Unfortunately there’s incredibly loose laws about campaign finance and lobbyism. The latter made up of a lot of former government employees.

You're right. And it also applies to social media companies now. Along with former intel agents.

If you haven't figured out by now the shift in voting practices (ballot harvesting, mail-in voting), the censorship going on in social media and MSM during the election, and you still believe the election was on the up and up, then friend, you have supped from the koolaid cup.
Couldn't you just as easily make the same argument the other way?
When you have Biden and Trump as your primary choices both parties are failing the country.

I’d say Bush and Obama had a pretty good competition at destroying the competition.
I didn’t see anyone after that try and gain some ground on the patriot or espionage act though.
Except there used to be finite options. And if you wanted to fact check them and their history you had to go to the library, go through books and fumble through reels.
Now it takes seconds and it’s in your pocket. Granted, the truth isn’t necessarily easier to find these days, but the information is there to compare very quickly. It’s human nature we lean towards the truths we want. And maybe that’s the crux of it, maybe advancements can’t outpace human nature.
I get how folks feel like Trump is anti-establishment and looking out for us peasants but his policies say otherwise, despite the belief he is trying to be silenced via legal action.
The difference is that person would no longer be a presidential front runner.

I thought maybe the DNC was giving up when the propped up Biden before Super Tuesday to prevent Bernie from winning by having almost half the field drop out so their votes would go to Biden. I was thinking they rather have 4 more years of Trump than having Bernie.
Its not like Republicans have not pulled similar stunts in 2008 and especially 2012 to block votes for Ron Paul.
Both parties are working against the general population, us peasants and rather have us distracted fighting amongst ourselves with the Donkey vs Elephant rhetoric than focus our attention on them.
Unfortunately the US has been conditioned to believing that a 3rd party candidate has no chance, therefore never gets significant votes as most do not want to vote for the loser.
Yet here we are again, looking like another Biden vs Trump election. I get how folks feel like Trump is anti-establishment and looking out for us peasants but his policies say otherwise, despite the belief he is trying to be silenced via legal action.
Had a Democrat did what Trump did, those supporting Trump would expect charges. The difference is that person would no longer be a presidential front runner.
