They didn't try to rebrand anything. They sent a six pack to a social media sensation and their bigoted consumer base got upset.

That's a strong generalization to make when AB InBev's market share has shrunk .1% over the past year.
Straight people for the most part don't seem to care. It's just the bigots that have taken offense to an inoffensive act.

It's called streamlining (lean and mean strategy) and most companies do it according to sales etc. So AB layoff in the hundreds is a nothing burger compared to the mass layoffs of other companies. It's all about the bottom line.

First and most important, if you go woke then you go broke. I think everyone should learn their lesson by now.
The biggest movie in the world right now was deemed woke by Conservatives and its still on pace to gross over a billion dollars.
After all protests, fires, death, and destruction to change our thinking and our culture the left's crowning accomplishment

Not in ABs case. They have taken an unrecoverable hit to their bottom line. They must layoff to absorb it.
The lady in charge of the bud light fiasco? Where is she? She 100% was looking to rebrand bud lights frat boy antics of the past…..as said by her (not verbatim but that is what she wanted and AB green lighted it)
We recognize that over the last two months, the discussion surrounding our company and Bud Light has moved away from beer and this has impacted
our consumers, our business partners, and our employees.
We are a beer company, and beer is for everyone.
Today, we are announcing three important actions as we continue to move our business forward.
First, we are investing to protect the jobs of our frontline employees.
Second, we are providing financial assistance to our independent wholesalers to help them support their employees.
Third, to all our valued consumers, we hear you. Our summer advertising launches next week and you can look forward to Bud Light reinforcing what
you’ve always loved about our brand – that it’s easy to drink and easy to enjoy.
As we move forward, we will focus on what we do best – brewing great beer and earning our place in moments that matter to you.
Here’s to a future with more cheers.
