He may have been mocked worldwide, but he did a fantastic job of stimulating the economy. Biden deliberately unravelled all of Trump's executive orders within weeks of taking office, and the country has been going to # ever since. Trump was a bit of a clown, but ironically he did a far better job than Biden ever could. Word.

1. It's a 60 year old law. I had nothing to do with it

2. Communists are the antithesis to the US Constitution. They should be eradicated like vermicelli at every opportunity.

While I absolutely see the same thing in society, I think the way it came about is less insidious, and possibly not even deliberate. Like the concept of what is civilized promotes leftist things. A social program to unconsciously equate the future with socialist universalism.

Call it the "Arrow of Culture Theory". Societies have a tendency to slide left as they progress.

Take for example almost every sci-fi representation of an advanced utopia alien society, its always big brother on steroids. Drab attire and ultra socialist. For in the future Everyone joins a peaceful federation and has universal Healthcare.

I often thought that was a projection of liberal writers, but then I thought about the steps current countries went through. There seem to be these across the board empowment checkpoints. First slavery, then suffrage, then egalitarianism (sepregation/apartheid), then feminism, now at LGBT, maybe android rights are the future? All the while, and through this progression, the burden of social welfare responsibility falls more to a growing centralized government.

I can't quite explain it, but I feel there is a natural tendency for advancing societies to advance into branches of Marxist ideals. Egalitarianism and broad social welfare protections and integrated technological programs, at the very least.

I didn't vote for the man, either time. As I've never liked him. But, I have to admit--somewhat reluctantly--that he did a more than decent job, especially compared to the moron who replaced him.

Biden is a liar, a plagiarizing idiot whose next original thought will be his first.

While I may not like Trump, I loathe Biden.

Social homogenization/Osculum infame or simply put; Welcome to the melting pot of; Widespread acceptance to remove fear out of the masses of some sub-culture of a culture... Something to see here and no threat to anyone else's sub-culture of culture. As if it wasn't that sort of country already that all of that sort of business just typically went without saying.

In the 80's it was black pride being rubbed in everyone's faces turning Rap into Hip-Hop etc. now it's this... It too shall pass.

Well the US may have turned to # but I do know a few people who have blossomed and improved. The tricky part of living today is understanding the extent of the lies and evil being done and yet remaining positive and free from fear. It wasn't a planned program of self-improvement but I recognize it in many here on ATS. We're still here folks, proof we can deal with it - and will continue to do so. Even this insanity will stop of it's own inertia at some point.

You might want to consider broadening your horizons about the new evils in the world.

What if I had my fair share of truly evil crap from the oh-so 'good' people already?

All this posturing reminds me more of the time before the Fabian Society was even being conceptionalized in Britain, and I'd say the massacre of communardes in Paris just a few years before had something to do with it.

[...]It was an extraordinarily uneven conflict. The forces of Versailles, carefully rebuilt in April and well into May, numbered about 130,000 men. In the end, probably only about 10,000 or at best 20,000 men, women, and indeed children defended the Commune, whose National Guard forces increasingly fell back on their own plebeian neighborhoods, crouched behind barricades being battered by superior forces or being shot from above in adjacent houses the Versaillais had taken. In all, sixty-four hostages held by the Commune perished, some executed, others killed in the streets. Estimates of supporters of the Commune who were killed in fighting, summarily executed, or gunned down afterward ranged as high as 25,000 or more.[...]

FYI,

The Church of England is considering changing the Lord's Prayer because when it starts with "Our Father. . . " it's been deemed too patriarchal.

So. How did the USA get to this point? Topsy turvy is being kind.
Seems like the last few years, and especially since the Covid years, that the USA and the world has moved in the wrong direction.
It goes beyond our politicians and it appears that there is a lot of rot and corruption in many places: schools, churches, the family.

This is an older article, but it goes to the history of how we got here. It was gradual. Over decades.
And the that fundamental transformation that Mr Obama talked about.

This explains it.....
www.realclearpolitics.com...#!

One mastermind of the ’60s revolution was Bill Ayers, who was first a progressive educator, then a bomb-throwing revolutionary in the Weather Underground, and then a fugitive from justice. It was while he was hiding from the FBI for the entire decade of the 1970s that Ayers realized that violent revolution could not topple the government unless it was first rotted from within. In “Prairie Fire” and other radical writings, Ayers described how young people, minorities and women could be turned against the system, and most importantly how revolutionaries who wore suits and ties could infiltrate boardrooms, political parties, the military, the courts and other institutions of society in order to bring about change from within.
....

Under such a scenario, the Constitution becomes a tool for social engineering rather than a protection against government excess, as was originally intended.

It too is all part of the plan. After all, judges are lawyers, and lawyers are graduated from law schools, and the top law-school students come from the top Ivy League and radical-left colleges, and most radical college students come from public schools, and public schools are to progressivism what politics is to the swamp. You can thank John Dewey, and you can thank Bill Ayers, who after he returned to public view, became an influential educator of educators at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In “Prairie Fire,” Ayers outlined how the revolution would transform America. Yes, violence would play a role. Yes, bankrupting the system by increasing dependence on government would play a role. Yes, spurring foreign wars to spread America’s military too thin would play a role. Yes, encouraging division among the races would be part of it, as would weakening the influence of religion on the masses, but if you wanted to win the revolution, Ayers made it perfectly clear how to begin: “The real question is: Who will control the schools?”

How did we get here? The answer by now should be obvious.

Patriarchal and offensive--
You forgot-- mothers can now become fathers-- and fathers can now become mothers--
The Lord is inclusive--

I believe this shows how we got here. Both sides, the left and the right, have been compromised and brainwashed by the media. This goes for tv, radio, and social media.
