This is unrelated, but during the Championship Celebration for the LSU Tigers baseball team last week, there were over 10,000 fans in the stadium. When the organizer called up Sharon Weston-Broome (Baton Rouge Mayor-President), the entire stadium booed and you could see the players sitting behind her laughing. She grabbed the mic and chanted LSU and nobody said a word, she asked how many LSU baseball fans were out there, they still remained quiet so she gave the head coach a key to the city and he quickly gave her a light hug and double tap. They're not going to think critically, analytically, and independently until we dismantle and rebuild our education system. It starts at the schools. Look how many think they're smarter than you because they graduated college. These days that's about as meaningful as getting a degree in the Game of Life.

South Carolina is one of the states that gets the most federal assistance and welfare. Currently SC gets 22.7% of its entire budget from federal welfare.

What this means is that wealthier states that do better and have higher income, like California, end up subsidizing welfare for the poorer states that don't do so well on their own.

South Carolina is one of those poorer states that get a huge amount of federal aid in order to function.

I'm not saying SC is not beautiful to live in, it's probably gorgeous, but it doesn't get that way on its own. Other states help make it that way.

What does any of that have to do with a rally taking place there? CA has piss, #, used needles, and homeless people all over their streets. Tell us more about how they're doing their part.

It doesn't take much imagination to understand why he's so afraid. Especially in light of what candidate Trump has said in recent interviews about how he will pick "the right people" to exact retribution and take out the trash starting in 2025.

Yes, I saw that also. Some OP attempted to discredit SC saying they get 22% federal aid. OK as in so what. The OP didn't say who was in the top 5 including California, New York.

This state is full of active duty soldiers and veterans who served or fought in wars. I can tell because of missing arms, legs or more and age of person.

I am a Yankee born in New York. My observation is that Southern people are self sufficient as in when and if all hell breaks they can grow food, raise animals along with timber and have a huge port in Charleston. They also like guns. They will be part of the EV triangle. New construction is up the wazzo as California and New York are imploding. My guess is that both Governors are basically blackmailed to haul the Democrat Party baggage or NO federal aid.
