I am a Yankee living in South Carolina. I have lived in the South since 2014 beginning in a suburb near West Atlanta. Today we live 20 miles from the capital, Columbia, South Carolina. It has a Republican governor, extremely low property taxes and job growth is exponential with 100's of large companies building new factories. Oh, our utility cost for HVAC is a joke. Its so cheap its like a pimple on a hogs butt. What I can tell you is Southerner's dislike where the Democrats are heading and taking this country. They also feel that the charges against Trump are a political motivated smear attack and that's when the gloves come off. I have gone through the USDOJ grinder as an expert witness for the USDOJ. I experienced the playbook and how it works and I also now somewhat understand the South, its people and core values. I can also see whos telling the truth as I can read the body language.

They also know when someone is getting jobbed because that's part of daily life down here. They also know that Trump regardless of all his wrongs has more rights on his plate than the current administration.

So he took his campaign to an insignificant small town in South Carolina yesterday. The turnout was huge as he was in Columbia several weeks ago. I am also a huge fan of Tim Scott who is also running for President. Tim is black and super intelligent, grounded and hard working politician who was recently criticized by Obama. Scott fired right back. Eloquently. So folks the men and women behind the curtain never wanted a Trump presidency back in 2016. They have the full force of the planet against Trump which includes the MSM and basically they want a one world new world order.

I absolutely LOVED the clip I saw of South Carolinians booing continuously, the presence of Lyndsey Graham. He tried every snakey politician word smithing possible to have people stop booing and listen to more of his lies. It was beautiful.

I think the Dems are so terrified of Trump that, while they are aiming at him, they keep shooting themselves in the foot. His entire time in office was a witch hunt that has been going on for years now and it just makes his base stronger.
WHY are they after him so hard ? The answer is, he screwed up their plan. Clinton was supposed to win and hand them an easy path to total control. Trump side tracked that and exposed them for what they are.

People are quite aware that Joe is not fit to serve and the Democrats have done nothing to help the average American....but they sure love illegals.
Our Vets are living on the streets and illegals in posh hotels for free.

I always find it strange that Liberals call Trump supporters a cult, when they follow their leaders in lockstep no questions asked. The Dems won't even allow debates, you just vote for who you're told to vote for. Trump will debate his opponents, why doesn't Joe ? Don't answer, we all know why.

Until Trump has this kind of turnout in hostile counties in the battleground states it doesn't matter except he is fishing for financing, and Imagine he wants to knock down Haley's campaign a notch in the Piedmont state.

Simply wanting to make your country "better" is not, by itself, a cult. Most people, when they vote, try to make the country better, by their own definitions. Of course, not everyone agrees on exactly what direction constitutes "better". The MAGA crowd (largely older, white, high-school educated, Christian, men) believe that moving the country more in the direction of how it was in the 1950s is "better" (which it was, for white, high-school educated, Christian, men). The progressive crowd (younger, racially diverse, college educated, non-denominational) believe that moving the country more in the direction of diversity, equity, inclusion, and secularity is a "better" direction (which it would be for them). This simply reflects the fact that most people make the egocentric assumption that what is better for them individually is better for the country.

Indications of a cult of personality include:

1. A charismatic leader who is applauded when he insists that he is "the only one who can save the nation", which Trump does regularly--most recently a few weeks ago after he was indicted.

2. A charismatic leader who is applauded when he suggests he is personally suffering to protect his followers, which Trump routinely does when he says that they (whoever "they" are) are coming after "you", and he's just standing in the way.

3. A charismatic leader who is applauded when he suggests that he is above the normal rules of society and brags that he could shoot someone on Fifth avenue and get away with it.

4. A charismatic leader whose followers make golden statues of him.

None of those indicators apply to Joe Biden--who is basically just a milk toast, average old white politician--which I think is one reason that Trump supporters can't believe Biden actually got 81 million votes. Trump supporters can't understand voting for someone who is NOT a larger than life transformative figure.
