Good post
Completely agree about the over emphasis of CO2 emissions (water vapour and various fluro-gases are the most destructive as the fluro class are
incredibly efficient at absorbing and releasing at absorbing and releasing several thousand times more solar radiation/heat than CO2 giving them a
Global Warming Potential up to 10,000 timse more destructive.
Earth and other planets are naturally in a constant state of flux as they're living planets and nature works by chaos mathematics.
The old idea that there's an underlying balance in nature and ecosystems exist was a complete fabrication by a guy called Arthur Tansley who admitted
he had no evidence ecosystems existed and he only made the claims because he dreamt he shot his wife one night and went a bit mental.
A massively racist and very influential British Field Marshal, Jan Smuts, used the idea of ecosystems and balance in nature as an excuse to bomb and
murder black people in South Africa in 1926 under his 'Holism' ecosystem claims.
Smuts was also mental and used to climb mountains then strip completely naked at the peak and dream up ideas of how nature worked.
Even Einstein was a huge fan of the idea and it was a huge discussion point in 1930s science with the underlying idea that European Empires and white
people had to be superior to black people and segregated from them for the false concept that there's an underlying balance in nature to work.
Tansley was rightfully very annoyed at how his hypothesis had been abused and called out Smuts for abusing the concept to claim the British Empire was
the natural ruler/dictator of the world. Smuts called for apartheid to be introduced so black people would 'know their place' as an inferior race.
It all got very close to Nazism, Eugenics and Totalitarian but somehow the idea of ecosystems and underlying balance in nature became popular with US
hippies and the word ecosystem is still commonly used today despite its incredibly racist past and the fact there's no evidence nature is self
organising or equilibrium exists.

Humans are causing a significant and evident contributiton to global warming as millions of tonnes potential energy that was stored underground is
being released into the atmosphere - these all absorb and release heat in addition to the natural cycles. We're in a sixth mass extinction now but
that's mainly due to mankind poisoning land/food/water and stealing habitat rather than effects of climate change.
Compared to the likes of mass extinction events that happen every few million years (mass erruptions that would cover the entire US in 5 mile deep
magma human emissions are small but it's undeniable that we are causing changes as we're altering the ammount of solar radiation absorbed and ye
cannae break the laws of physics (Q = m.c.delta T).
The main problem we don't talk about is how capitalism is compltely incompatible and unsustainable on Earth, we're using exponentially more resources
each year while out capacity to accessa them only increases linearly meaning we're heading for disaster. It's called the 'grim model' in maths as most
peope who study it kill themselves and was a topic we were warned off studying at Uni.
We need to come up with a completely new system as the current alternatives to capitalism are even worse and were largely abandonned/collapsed for
good reason.
