Between Dobbs, yesterday's decision on affirmative action, and today's decisions making it legal for businesses to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people and canceling the student loan forgiveness plan, the Supreme Court has all but guaranteed a Dem victory next year.

Young voters now make up the largest age demographic when it comes to voters, and as we saw from the Red Trickle last year, these kinds of court decisions are getting them to get out and vote.

If Dobbs was enough to ruin the Red Wave of 2022, imagine how much more pissed these kids are going to be now that SCOTUS has made three historic decisions the vast majority of young voters are utterly opposed to.

So when the House flips back to Blue next year, the Dems gain seats in the Senate, and Biden enters his second term, remember to thank the SCOTUS.

Sure, if you say so.
God forbid the Dems do anything for this country that really makes a difference in it’s citizens everyday lives.

They can cry about Affirmative Action and gay rights and the pipe dream of canceling student loans.

Why the F should I, as a taxpayer, have to pay for some idiot’s student loans?
Millions of people paid their loans before Biden pissed on all of them with that ridiculous idea, always knowing that it would never happen.

The only way the Dems win again is if they pull off another massive cheating and fraud scam.

And the least mature or educated about how to actually be productive members of society who make good life choices.
God help us.

ETA: and consider this my response to the same comment you made on the other thread.

And it's comments like that that explain why the Right has such a hard time attracting young voters.

And yet, they are the most desirable demographic for hiring and marketing. They get the jobs and they spend their money.

Name 2 things that the Democrats have done to help this country to make its citizens lives better since Biden has taken office.
Hell, name 1 thing if you can’t name 2 because I can’t think of anything.

If you don’t understand the difference between the two, that’s your problem.

Good thing I'm not a politician then. And if I were, I wouldn't support crappy policy or ideas which are really just fake promises just to get votes because the voters are too naive to know they support things that will end up hurting them in the end. Like "free" sh*t. Reality sucks but pandering and passing off ideas that will ultimately fail or never end up on the floor is mendacity at best and power grabbing for the sake of power at worst.

while complaining about how expensive everything is

Perhaps we should define exactly who we are talking about because out of the 20-somethings I know those who are still at home with mom and dad with no goals or direction in life lean left while the ones I do have jobs and pay taxes and contribute are starting to lean more right...

Not in my experience. The people complaining about how expensive everything is are Boomers and Gen Xers.

???

How will a democrat victory over-rule SCOTUS decisions?

Is the left planning to pack the courts or is the left planning to destroy the Constitution?

If the democrats win in 2024, so be it. It'll be the future that the idiots deserve.

I'm past caring anymore. I have my little hidey hole pretty much cleared out. Let it all go to hell. It seems like that's what the majority want. Not saying that it'll be easy for me and my family, but at some point you just have to acknowledge that people are stupid and self-destructive and if they want to take the fast ride to hell in a handbasket, it's what they're going to do.

With enough numbers, they could expand the court. Or they could pass a loan forgiveness bill, as well as laws codifying things access to abortions and making LGTBQ+ people a protected class covered by the Civil Rights Act.

Or maybe they don't do any of those things. Maybe the kids just don't want people in power that continue to drag us backwards.

By the way, as we've seen from this current SCOTUS, precedent means nothing.

So democrats are trying to destroy "democracy" because they didn't get what they wanted.

I figured.
