He was a puppet.

That was the point.

In response to a poster claiming it was all democratic. Which it wasn't.

ATTENTION

I don't know how it is that people can't understand that opinions of each other are not the topic on ATS - EVER - but it's close to time to start issuing Posting Bans to those who ignore this.

BE WARNED IF YOUR POST IS NOT ON TOPIC AND IS ABOUT OTHER MEMBERS YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE POSTING BANNED! This includes comments members make in other threads.

Everyone and I mean everyone is allowed to post here on topic and to do so without being called names or becoming the target of others' posts. Debate the topic and leave each other out of it. OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS are encouraged.

The topic is War Stories - Russian POWs Give Their accounts of the War

These rules apply to all threads and if you want to engage in personal attacks there are other sites on the Internet where you can do that. Our goal is for ATS to be above that. For members here to post like mature adults.
YOU are responsible for your own posts

And, as always...
Do not reply to this post.

We have a tiny bit more then 2014.. it actually goes back to 1994, when we got rid of experimenting on our own civilians and started paying Ukraine to do it for us.(you can't believe that a freshly born country could support itself with no real revenue). Hell California has massive revenue and would flop if it tried. We paid for Ukraine to be "independent" when it started failing/struggling in 1992.

But I agree, being neutral on the subject does allow you to see both sides of the story. It allows you to see things you would miss otherwise. I know half the questions I had I wouldn't of found so easily if I had chosen a side, especially early on before it became a full blown misinfo campaign.

It's all about perspective, sadly when it goes one way for the majority. It just makes a little more sense to spit out the facts to the underdog. Some people seem to take that as a side though. Hopefully one day I will figure out how to state the facts without it looking like I am cheerleading one side or the other.
