When you have an awakening to the social injustices in society, (even if there really aren’t many.) Usually those who are woke cannot be swayed by reason, usually respond with anger and profanity, look to cancel any opponent and are passionate to this cause even if proven wrong

Given a choice, the vast majority of people prefer to live in a dictatorship, as long as the dictator has the same tastes they do.

As long as the dictator shares their tastes, most people joyfully embrace the dictator.

The only way to accomplish this in America is for the media to make a small minority of the population seem like the vast majority and to start indoctrinating our children at the pre-school level. The college level has been proven to take too long.

I think I'm a contrarian at heart because I only liked it until it hit the centerpoint. When it pushed way past it, it soured quickly. No fun beyond fringe recognition.

It became annoying pandering and quasi-religious indoctrination. Compulsory, mandated, shame enforced indoctrination.

I might not be christian, but "to each their own" is a sound philosophy, and no longer qualified to rainbows some point in 2015. And the became bloodlust and payback for not letting a "woman" be president after 2016. Which pushed it to lengths which are now being pushed back hard against.

Yep. Is progress a bad thing? I feel like "progressive" would be things like the 19th amendment (women voting), the civil rights act, the emancipation proclamation, legalizing gay marriage, ADA, etc... None of these things were well received by conservatives, but they certainly progressed our society by allowing more people to have equal rights.

its all based on fads and fads come and go. remember how rebellious it was to wear earrings in the 80s for men? or women with tattoos in the 80s?So rebellious! Really made the old people and especially the parents, mad as heck! So now wearing opposite gender clothing has been played out and were onto the next thing. Now how do they piss off parents? Chop off arms? "I wasn't meant to be born with arms mo! Dont you get it??"

One nice thing is women's fashion. If you look at the progression, or should I say regression of material that woman wear on their top halves, the only step in about 5 years is for them to go completely topless to get that "shock effect". So, trends aren't always bas, as you can see

I support this. It's already legal in a handful of states, and in some local jurisdictions. Just not common yet.

I also never hear, nor have ever heard, the term 'woke' and its variations except online by right-wing or traditional conservatives, because that term serves the purpose to demonize anyone's political philosophy which differs from those that lean very far right and never venture near the middle, or venture near compromise.
