Either way, tearing down PRIDE flags is anti free-speech and akin to middle schoolers taking down some Republican flag because their parents bash republicans all day.

I'd say it depends, but typically most middle schoolers ive met, aren't well informed and beliefs aren't well thought-out and often reflect that of their parents. Especially when it comes to hot-button issues like PRIDE stuff.
