Are you suggesting that I can commit all kinds of moraly repugnant acts or sins and there are no consequences besides those imposed by other men?

One also has to wonder if the 24 elders also mentioned in Revelation add or subtract from the 144000.
It doesn’t add up and goes against the nature of the Almighty.

"4,000 religions
According to some estimates, there are over 4,000 religions, faiths groups, and denominations that exist around the world today. Researchers and academics generally categorize the world's religions into five major groups: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism."
Each one of you be believe what was taught to you .You are a product of the environment you were born in taught what to believe .
Faith is great and at no ones fault what you believe but just rationalize the fact it's a where you were born and who taught you is what you believe .

Out of the thousands of man-made religions only one teaches the truth from the Bible that the soul is mortal, that it sins and dies. Please see this thread regarding this startling truth, and how it points to who really is teaching the truth from the Bible:
Immortality - Deathlessness

It's the one you believe that's the point . It's great to have faith in one thing or another but as I was told don't look at your life from within your circle of family or teachers , Rise above the Earth and look at everyone at once .
The immortality of the soul is a core fundamental belief in all religions around the world, except for one that I can think of. Religions may play around with the concept, but they all have it in one form or another. Even secret societies and the mystery religions teach the inherent immortality of the soul.
The Catholic Church teaches the inherent immortality of the soul, eastern religions teach the soul is immortal and reincarnated.
But exactly what is immortality? Simply put, it is the impossibility of ever dying. It is a state of being where one can live off oneself forever never needing an outside force to sustain them.
The Bible teaches a very different understanding of immortality than the religions of the world, even those of the Churches of Christendom that claim to worship the God of the Bible. It is my belief that when one really understands what immortality entails, and who has it their eyes have to be opened to who has the truth and who are in the darkness mentally.
Although the Churches of Christendom teach that the soul is immortal, and they also teach that everyone goes to either heaven, or a Hellfire to burn forever, or a purgatory after death, the Bible paints a very different picture of death and immortality.
For example the Bible teaches that God alone possessed immortality until Jesus Christ was resurrected and as a reward for his faithfulness and loyalty unto death he was given immortality:
"He is the King of those who rule as kings and Lord of those who rule as lords, the one alone having immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see."-1 Timothy 6:15-16.
So while the religions of Christendom, and indeed all religions around the world, along with secret societies and mystery religions, teach that humans possess an immortal soul that can never die, the Bible clearly teaches that God, and his son Jesus Christ are the ones alone that possess immortality. Now if you notice we are also taught that Jesus Christ now dwells in unapproachable light, and no human has ever seen it and will never be able to see it, that is, the elevated form of life that Jesus now possesses in heaven. This is important, because it does relate to the quality of life that those who possess immortality possess. That is they are spirit beings, they cannot be flesh and blood.
The Bible alone teaches that the soul that sins it itself will die:
"The soul who sins is the one who will die."-Ezekiel 18:20.
Death was the the consequence given to Adam and Eve for sinning:
"Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”-Genesis 2:16-17.

JW,org and PEDOPHILES
There are some Protestant denominations who don’t agree with eternal hell fire, many Protestants don’t agree with catholic theology
Jehovah witnesses would argue that he’ll fire doctrine is satanic and that believing Jesus died on a post not a cross is satanic
I believe working for a cult that denies justice for sexually abused children is satanic
I believe working for a cult that is doing what the Catholic Church did decades ago, hiding child abuse and not turning over child predators
I believe that harbouring pedophiles is satanic
Hell fire, not a salvation issue to me and my faith
Jesus on a post or cross, who cares outside of JW,org
Denying there are pedophiles being protected by JW,org, that’s satanic to me, sick twisted satanic pack of perverts who prey on kids
Argue hell fire but
You think nothing of denying pedophiles are protected in your community
No better than disgusting catholic priests

I was raised in the Catholic Church as well.
My belief now is that Hell is the total absence of God [all that is good].
To me, that would be worse than hellfire.

Luke 16:14-31 is simply an allegory that distinguishes between death and everlasting life. In Ecclesiastes 12:7 it states "dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it". It is as simple as that.
