How many stores display the rainbow flag because they do not want to be labeled anti-gay? How many people are called _01phobic (which is a mental illness) just because they do not support a behavior or belief, why does Target have big displays and rows of tuck-friendly bathing suits and other like clothing when like 2 people may buy...lol It's a dog whistle to the LGBTQ community not to attack them and not a money-making event. Look at the attackdogs that went after Target after they decided not to play the pride game after all.

The joy of a small business is that it can pop up in five minutes on a stall at the local market. All you need is to sell something needed. At my local market some of them, the food suppliers literally make a week's wages in four hours. But the swapping that goes on is interesting as well.

Ok, so you say sometimes a man will marry a man because they love each other just like your dad and I in my case or like your mom and I if it's a dad speaking. A young child will grasp that. Do you have to explain sex when two heterosexual people get married? You're certainly making this much more complicated than it needs to be, but I get that you don't agree with it and that's probably why.

My 3 children knew gay couples and I never had to explain sex to them because of it. Guess what? They are all straight and don't hate or fear other people. That's crazy right? They were not indoctrinated, sexually assaulted, etc. They even watched the musical Rent on repeat as teens and still didn't switch genders or become gay because of the movie.

If that's all it is, then why are we "Proud" when two men get married but not when your daddy marries your mommy? No one celebrates your daddy marrying your mommy and the two of them staying together, but we spend an entire month celebrating two men or two women doing that.

I didn't, and don't. I have several family who are gay. It's never mattered to me. Kids are taught to hate, they don't come by it naturally. It's nurtured into them.

My parents didn't care, therefore, I don't.

Fear is a survival tool. Fear, every once in a while, of parental wrath is a useful tool for said parents.

My Dad used it, infrequently, to keep his idiot son...me...in line. I say infrequently because I wasn't such an idiot as all that, but like all kids do, I pushed boundrys--and would, upon occasion, need to be reined in.

My mother was the truly scary one, on the even rarer occasions, that her wrath was unleashed upon me...
