Although details surrounding the specific conversations that occur at the gathering are shrouded in secrecy, the group behind the Bilderberg Meeting does share a list of attendees as well as an outline of their annual agenda which provides something of a glimpse into what is on the minds of the proverbial 'powers that be.'

According to a press release issued by the event organizers, this year's Bilderberg Meeting will feature "about 130 participants from 23 countries." While many of the attendees are not exactly household names to the general public, they are all considered to be experts in their field...

To that end, the primary topic listed on the agenda for this year's Bilderberg Meeting is 'artificial intelligence'.

2023 Bilderberg Meeting Underway in Lisbon

This is the first meeting in years, due to the hiatus from the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Big names, this year some alphabet agencies too.

Google, ODNI, Sam Altman of ChatGTP and many more power players.

Top topics are
AI
Banking System
China

Of course the details of the decisions that are made, the
actual meeting contents are all kept secret unless leaked.

Feel free to post any information you can find, not sure
who maybe investigating if anyone due to the serious
consequences that would come it it.

The attendees defend the secrecy with claims of attending
in a private capacity, even though some if not most are public
officials who are theoretically accountable to the public of their
respective countries.

According to their own statement:
“The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor any other participant may be revealed.”

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg,
U.S. director of National Intelligence Avril Haines,
OpenAI CO Sam Altman, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella,
and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla.....
the list is long, shadowy and disturbing.

What could possibly go wrong?

After Covid 19, well damn, a lot!

Nothing better than a full group of "Artificial Intelligentsia" discussing Artificial Intelligence 😁

funny!

It is also disturbing, as there is no such thing as unbiased
AI. So in stark reality, the AI that is going to be unleashed
will have bias of all sorts, and imo is going to be very dangerous.

Just read between the lines in this glowing
piece from CNN.

Abrams, Stacey (USA), CEO, Sage Works Production ?!

Dear God, please help us.

I wonder if there will be an army of hookers. Well.. in retrospect, probably not.
Chatham House Rules notwithstanding.
Besides, there's always Bohemian Grove for more whimsical frivolous fun...

Herein they could be discussing anything that requires "motivation" within the group. Especially the 'new' accelerations of their collective escape plans... and maybe the fate of global subordination in light of troubled e-banking domination.

Well, maybe in keeping with the AI topic they might have
some ..uh...er... similar robots of some sort?

I'm leery of the congressional response just this
last week.

In providing simple-sounding solutions with a smile, Altman is doing much more than shaping policy: He is offering members of Congress a shot at redemption, one they seem grateful to accept. Despite the many pitfalls of AI they identified on Tuesday, lawmakers appeared to thoroughly welcome Altman as a partner, not a potential adversary needing oversight and scrutiny.

'Redemption''?

Are you sure you want God to intervein? When humanity runs amok and God steps in it it's pretty.....

"Kill them all and let God sort them out later" comes to mind. Perhaps this time he'll just sit back and watch the show as the elites kill us all.

That is well underway, as we have seen in the last three years.

Covid, like a bat out of hell. Oh...wait!
A cave? A cage?

I am sure God has a plan, even if it is at this point...
letting the evil come to full fruition.

What a time to be alive, eh?

I apologize for not including my take on the AI front.

I know that many are quietly unnerved by the topic. And even while I have always maintained that we (the public) has never really experienced true AI, only it's facade, I too reserve a great deal of discomfort considering "who" will harness it, "how," and "to what end."

The truth is the entire topic of AI in the common dialog is more a marketing success than a substantially defined topic. I think we should have expected this 'public treatment' of the subject ever since OpenAI went "hybrid"...(it was always intended as a non-profit "open" effort - to avoid moral hazards) ... it is now hybridized via commercial involvement (thank you Microsoft.)

Regardless of that development, 'generative' language synthesis is a powerful tool for those who seek to dominate information... especially those who virtually dominate both the media and the regulatory efforts of the medium.

If no other element plays a role in the Bildergburg "discussions" AI's use to further their influence in the world must be part of it. It will also become part and parcel of the information we receive regarding the "economic development of the future."

On the flip side of this is the theory I hold to that 'true' AI will not be biased at all... but it still must do whatever it is programmed to do... given human nature, that will likely create conflicts and circumstances no one can reliably predict, or control.

Should these world "leaders" live up to their projected image we will either see an increase in the hype, or a kind of "diminished attention" to the subject generally. Either way research will not stop. It's a race now.

I dare not say more for the risk of appearing the fool... which I try to avoid... with severely limited success.

Just kidding, they're doing the exact opposite.

From the List of Attendees, there certainly are enough journalists covering this, but it looks mainly economic.

I suspect their ambitions are less about artificial intelligence, more about uploaded intelligence. A fully developed mind is easier to reprogram on a server than building one from scratch, not to mention technology that can extract and house your "soul" is the billionaires holy grail.

Well they finally admit they gather, but the idea that they
would be talking about anything less than how to help
the ordinary person, well now that is just an utter
conspiracy! We all know* they have our best interests
at heart right?

*fake meat, monitoring and correcting disinformation,
implementing 'green energy', bugs, vaccines, etc.

While I am far from qualified to give an expert opinion,
following a few who do analysis of the existing AI, it
seems it is going to be impossible for AI to not have
a bias.

From this recent take:

Overall, I found that GPT-3 leaned progressive on social topics, such as race, sexual freedom, and children’s rights. This is consistent with my findings in my previous article, Language Models and Gender Identity, where I showed that GPT-3 was more progressive on controversial topics related to gender identity than several other language models that I tested. I selected a random sample of GPT-3’s answers and include them below.

towardsdatascience.com...

Of course there are many other aspects to take into account.

Will AI be the end of humanity? I don't know for sure,
I think it may be more a question of who ends up
in charge, man or machine.

Dare I say, I think the machine will win out.
